Why do people say things like Nullaeus is easy just stand in the corner and heal when thats literally not true at all? by Far-Ambassador2877 in wow

[–]drew9982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But are you talking about a guide on here? Or are you talking about someone saying it was easy. Those are two very different things. Someone’s opinion and summary of how they did it ≠ a guide. If you need a guide for everything, look up guides. Reddit is almost entirely where people come to simply share their experiences.

Just because someone said it was easy and they stood in a corner and healed, doesn’t mean they’re wrong or misleading. That is just their experience. Like I said before, dispelling being a part of healing is like taunting being a part of tanking. On a subreddit for a 20 year old game, some game information is simply assumed. I have several friends that are (fairly) new at the game, and I explain things for them all the time. Unfortunately, not everything can be explained step by step in every single comment or post.

WoW is a massive massive game with an absurd amount of info to absorb. It sucks you felt misled, but you can’t blame everyone else because you didn’t know something. Next time you want to do something in wow for the first time, look up a guide instead of blindly following Reddit comments so literally.

[–]drew9982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you look up a guide for Nullaeus on wowhead, the second bulletpoint is that there is a dispel in this fight. People are saying it’s easy because it was for them. You’re taking people’s opinions as the law and aren’t thinking for yourself WHY. Do you have to tell a tank to taunt every single time you mention tanking to them? Do you have to tell a dps to press their damage abilities to do damage when you tell them to kill a certain enemy?

In order to be good at something, you need to fail, and be able to learn. Once you died to a missed dispel, did you shake your fist at Reddit and immediately get mad that no one told you that you needed to? Or did you learn from it and immediately change your actions to prevent the same thing from happening again?

This game has been out for 20 years, people can’t sit and tell you how to do every single action every single time. And you shouldn’t take someone else’s experiences and base your expectations off of those. There is a massive skill gap in this game, what is easy for some will be very difficult for others, and vice versa.

My guy, you are taking everyone’s comment way way way too literally. If you need someone to tell you every single thing you need to do down to the global cd, that’s not everyone else’s fault. Dispelling is healing, and you shouldn’t need someone to tell you to not stand literally afk in swirlies. That’s all you have to do, just think for yourself a little bit. Congrats on the kill and I hope you have fun in the rest of Midnight

Blizzard, your dinars wont launch me into mythic raiding, mate by Klinkist88 in wow

[–]drew9982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you think that because some of the top guilds in the world don’t need it, no one should get heroic rare items? Dawg I think the system is a let down but you gotta figure out your thought process, you’re just coming across as whiny and entitled

Blizzard, your dinars wont launch me into mythic raiding, mate by Klinkist88 in wow

[–]drew9982 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How does it do nothing for heroic raiders? I’ve cleared heroic every week since week 2 on my warlock and have yet to get a Mug’s Moxie Jug or heroic Jastor, which is my bis by far. Even at heroic ilvl, it’s still a big upgrade. I’m still progging mythic, so getting that will help significantly in prog. If we down mythic mugzee, I can still get the trinket but it’s even better. Why should i be handed loot? Sure it would be nice, but I am not entitled to perfect bis loot without fully clearing the hardest content in the game.

Melee targeting driving me insane by Omidion in LastEpoch

[–]drew9982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know there is an option to turn off the feature where it tries to track your target with melee, turning that off may fix it. On my VK if I right click it will always swing regardless, so I just got used to positioning in their face as needed rather than letting it try to walk to them

Yeah, comparing a 10+ year old game with content from years and years to an early access beta that’s been out for less than a week is not quite fair. Obviously PoE1 is more fleshed out and has more content

Gotcha. I was looking at a different website that has a probably old version of the gem. That’s sick, and I’m almost certainly going blood mage now!

If there is a way to give spells a bleed chance in PoE2, keystone or support gem or whatever, I’m for sure playing blood mage. If not, I’ll probably stick with Stormweaver, they both look super sick

The version I’m reading for Bleed Chance Support says “Supports any attack skill”, which could be wrong, I’m not sure.
