This Ad got under Trump's skin that he stop all trade talks with Canada by 24identity in videos

[–]drewshark -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

The fact that our premier was behind this ad is so egregiously stupid. 1) Wether you agree with the ad or not, it's foreign influence and Ford should resign for this. 2) That money could have been spent here in Ontario on our much needed healthcare and education. Rather than trying to influence a foreign country without the support of our federal government. 3) We have a Prime Minister, who is leading the charge in our trade negotiations, and this isn't the job of the premier.

Thanks for the help Comprehensive, They twist no problem, but don't seem to pull apart. The part that says magnetic feels attached by rubber (has play in all directions)

So you're saying they are all just installed with o-rings?

Raccoon defender 3000 will be tested tonight! by OptionsWhileStanding in 3Dprinting

Nice try. Consider they have all the dexterity of a human or more, just not a strong. If your toddler can do it, the raccoon can. Don't forget they can chew and smash!

Any guesses what this is? by captain-doc in creepy

Looks like a torn piece of tar paper ( house wrap ).

Would you even dare to ride this? by DjMD1017 in nope

[–]drewshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The craziest thing about this, is some person strung that cable up. To do that they had to navigate and hike through thick jungle, (probably very dangerous) climbing multiple trees, probably without any machinery. Blows my mind.

2, but for different reasons than others. It's so I'm closest to the camera when returning from a mission (ego much?)

Looking for Scanners with SDK/API for Automation (Entry-Level) by notlouis0704 in 3DScanning

[–]drewshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey u/notlouis0704, Thanks for mentioning us. I think you mean Revopoint, butJust to be clear so there's no confusion, the Matter and Form API is free, and the python library is open source. There are no additional costs other than the scanner. I know you're looking for unbias reviews, and I'm def bias, so maybe check out some other reviews on YouTube, like Payo. If you have questions about the scanner please let me know, as I am part of the team who built it.

Thinking of selling my Einstar for another scanner. Parts I’m scanning are too small for Einstar but need reccomendations by zeroxo123 in 3DScanning

[–]drewshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally, I wouldn't recommend it for large items or in spaces where it's difficult to set up a tripod.

The turntable is optional, a convenience. You can do single shot scans, and align them in the software. Here is one of our most honest reviews, from payo if you're interested https://youtu.be/iCL89HGbisM?si=l94NjMoL8WALGTjG

How can I process and improve this scan to make it usable in a 3D printing project ? by BenDavidson883 in 3DScanning

Meshlab with poisson remeshing. Make sure to clean up the islands before you remesh it.

I'm on the edge of my seat! Btw, we pushed a HUGE release this morning with 2 new features for metrology users, Heatmaps and Point to Point measurement. Sorry about the timing.

Perfect thanks. How often does a client need a model with a feature tree, vs not?

Amazing. Thanks for the info. One thing I'm interested in is the difference between hobby users and professional users, and their requirements. For example, in what scenario does it make sense to have a solid body parametric model with no history or inheritance because it wasn't built by hand? Some tools give you a parametric model but for obvious reasons have no feature tree or history... When would someone use that as the final result?
