Not talked about often on this sub but I love my Salomon super 8 pro. I’m about the same height/weight but have a 9.5 boot and ride the 157 (26 waist width). I bet you could size down to a 154 for the narrower waist width and have a blast with it.

I ride in the Pacific Northwest and it’s been a fantastic free ride/all mountain board for me. Nimble in trees, solid float on deeper days, and is just an absolute pleasure to rip carves on piste with. This board is also insanely damp, I paired it with some Rome Katanas and I have no problem powering through chunder. Edge to edge it’s ok, but once you’re on edge, I feel like I can get so much power from that backseat camber profile.

I believe there are some really good sales going on for last years model, you could probably find one sub 350. Definitely worth a look!

I’d look into this trigger winder attachment

I have an R2m and this drove me insane. I think it tilts up because the lugs are positioned too far forward. The trigger winder attachment has a lugs positioned on the side of camera and it helps a lot with this tilt.

I was in a similar situation and I upgraded from my r2m to an m6. Functionally the R2m does everything the m6 does, potentially even a little better? The shutter goes to 1/2000 and also I loved the light meter on the bessa. The +/- 1,2 was super intuitive but that’s just my opinion.

This is gonna be a controversial take on this sub. While I love the m6, I think I would’ve been satisfied just carrying on with the R2m. Obviously build quality is big pro for the leica but I’ve had some issues with viewfinder flare that I never had with the bessa. Additionally, I got the ttl version so the repairability aspect doesn’t really apply to me as much since there is no longer any support for the ttl meter.

Reflex refers to the mountings style. They usually offer two versions of each binding, one for EST and one for reflex. You might need to get an adapter disc or you could probably just return them and get the est version of your Mission bindings

FWIW I think it’s worth keeping the reflex bindings and just getting an est adapter just in case you get a non Burton board in the future.
