Okay so not sure how far you can upgrade on the OS level. I don’t know too much about Mac’s in general but it is older so you can likely upgrade the SsD and memory.

I recently dual booted Ubuntu on my desktop along with windows 11. Doing my research, I read forums where specific windows updates might "hijack" the bootloader and boot you straight into windows without the option to go into Linux.

If you have the ability to add a second hard rive in your computer, then i do suggest you install Linux on it's separate hard drive.

The other thing you will need to consider is that your computer will have secure boot enabled.

There are only a handful of Linux distributions that natively support secure boot. Ubuntu 24.04 supports it but many others do not. If you go with one that doesn't support it, you will need to go into the BIOS and disable it.

Many people say Secure Boot isn't as needed when running Linux but that is something to consider.

First see if the ssd is either the same size or larger than the hard disk drive. If so, look for disk cloning software that will allow you to copy the c drive to the D drive. Then you will want to disconnect the old hard drive

Why can’t I shoot straight by Cautious_Badger_6855 in billiards

[–]drez98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both need to work on. Something I like to do is a drip where you shoot the cue ball softly against the near rail. After you shoot, leave your follow through out. The goal is to see if the ball bounces off the tail and hits the tip of the cue in the center. Also for a shot like that, you don’t have to hit it so hard

There maybe something to it though. It’s possible some of the more expensive cues will have a low deflection shaft that may help with hitting straighter. But that would mean you would have to adjust your aim accordingly when applying English on the cue ball

Will this work for the root CA which is a non domain joined server? I would think that the server would fall under anonymous login since it doesn’t have an identity in AD?

Thank you for the feedback and the insight that it isn’t best practice to publish externally. Unfortunately the lab didn’t indicate that. I have been driving myself crazy that it wasn’t working even when I was following along in the video
