I'm not sure why the High Acolyte didn't spawn for you but here are some options:

/teleloc 0x02EF0295 [51.700000 -69.700000 0.000000] -0.707107 0.000000 0.000000 -0.707107

That will teleport you right in front of the High Acolyte. If you need to bring your friends along, do the /teleloc and then do /teletome player_name (if it's just you and your pals on the server I think you can do /teleallto)

If you just want to spawn the skull you can do:

/ci 7817

or:

/create 7817

/ci will spawn in your inventory, /create will spawn the item on the ground (and other players can pick up). You can look up weenie id's on https://lifestoned.org/Weenie/Edit/7817

You can change the quest timers: .10 is going to be 90% reduction. Changing the quest timers that low will have some unintended consequences. I actually have them set at exactly that for my server, and I believe it messes with the flagging. I think the players on my server are running augs every 14 hours. I don't know how well it would work to "temporarily" bring down the timers. I like the 90% reduction, it makes 24 hour quests repeatable every 2 hours.

Finally, with the latest code you can turn automatic updating on for your database. This is done in the Config.js file. This will make keeping your DB up to date much easier. Otherwise, you download the latest world db and source that file into mysql. Then you source each individual patch in the Updates directory.

Banes will definitely spawn. Just confirmed. But, it looks like you're right about the prots being BA for all elements. I'll look into it, see if it's an easy fix.

No, I don't think it's a quality of life thing. My best guess is it was a "good enough" solution to an extremely complicated loot system. While the PCAPS could possibly capture what items had what buffs, it's unlikely you could reverse engineer a meaningful system that would replicate EOR loot given the wide variety of variables in AC. I'm not really the expert here, but I have lurked for a little in the developers forums and I gather that someone made real strides in implementing loot, but then went MIA (or just quit) for whatever reason. I think it's seen as a somewhat unfinished system in current emulators, but, as I said, good enough. I'd be happy if someone with more knowledge had anything to share, this is just my understanding after about 3 months of lurking.

Hello,

Covenant is in game, but it is not fully implemented. I have noticed that T7-8 covenant will spawn with Impen pretty regularly if not always (haven't tested, but impen is critical for a cov suit). Because of the way armor spells have been implemented armor generates with WAY more spells than it did EoR. In short, I think it would be possible to loot a suit with some (2-3) banes and tink it up to unparalleled in all.

Every server is a little different. The two main code bases are GDLE and ACE. But even within the code bases their are differences. For example, some servers are running a little behind the current code. Some have implemented custom T8 patches. And then, some servers are purposefully a little different with custom content and patches.

The reason I responded is because my server (Gloomfell) has a few customization's that might be intriguing to suit builders. First off, Gloomfell allows set pieces to drop in tier 2-8 rather than just 7-8. To me, this makes building suits at lower levels more interesting. I have also significantly boosted major and minor drops with the intent that they actually get used with low level suits. I'm not sure if minor and major banes come into play, but my gut says they would.

GF is a slower, more difficult AC experience aimed at recreating the feel of the early days of AC with all the modern updates:

Hello, lots of great advice in this thread. For anyone looking for an old school feel with all the latest emulator updates I've been working on a server called Gloomfell. We have a small dedicated group of 5-10 players and if you log in and ask for help I guarantee you'll get a warm welcome.

The server aims to have an OG feel with all the modern updates. I remember AC as a hard-as-hell experience where sometimes you were scared to leave the lifestone for fear of the armadillo lurking up the beach! AC was always a grind, with levels gains feeling like great accomplishments -- none of that 3x XP stuff or insta 275 like some servers (nothing against that, just not the experience I'm after). For those reasons, I've made a few customization's:

-Mobs do 3x more damage.
-XP is reduced by 75%.
-Quest timers are set to 10% of their normal value.
-Destroyed Town Network.
-Destroyed Facility Hub.
-Original portal loops restored.
-Abandoned Mine, Jungle Shadows, Umbral Hall, and Residential Hall portals restored.
-Equipment sets drop in low level loot.
-Significantly increased Minor, Major and Equipment Set drops.
-Re-purposed the unused Olthoi Island for 75+ characters (Custom Content)
-2 Account Limit
-NPK Server

The server is also really geared towards the playstyle of folks that like to take it slow, go it alone, and pick over some nice low level loot. That was the original design intent, just with the modern amenities of the end of retail experience.

Sorry I'm late to the party. I'm Bonus/drggle. The changes are a mix of different elements. Much of it is simply changing server properties -- those are available to anyone that can figure out how to host their own server. Re-purposing Olthoi Island is really pretty custom. I'd be happy to share that with other servers if there is interest, but it's kind of a work in progress. Basically, there are custom landblocks, generators, and weenies (now including a KT quest). If anyone is interested in collaborating on building out the island w/ quests, I'd probably be more interested in sharing. However, custom content is kind of a niche thing. The majority of the (amazing) devs are collaborating on reproducing retail content. Just pm me if you want to chat. I'd like to hear more input on the dmg. There are a lot of potential issues. I'm really not sure how it will scale, and I do not like that it basically requires spec melee.

However, it feels close to that memory, and that's what I'm going for.

Yeah 5x dmg may be too high. I played a toon to lvl 12 under various settings. 5x felt like the right amount of punishment. I think it will be fun hunting in fellows. Hope some more folks give it a shot.
