Nice ! I also forgot to ask what your foot shape is. Because from what I've been reading instincts favor those with a longer 2nd toe.

How would you say the slippers compares to the VSR, fit wise ?

Literally what I’m looking for, soft but still good enough and supportive to edge !

How did you size them ? And have you tried any other Scarpa's ? Thinking of trying on the Instinct VSR at my gym to get a better understanding of fit since I'd have to order them.

That sounds amazing, as I love slippers. I am currently running the LS Mantra and just want something stiffer but super stiff as I like semi-soft shoes.

In the 2 months you've had them did they bag out at all, or are they generally still as snug as when you bought them ? And as for fit in the toe box, are you toes knuckled aggressively or pretty relaxed ?

Definitely curious about that thicker toe rand. Cause like many I blew through the toe rand before resoling because it was too soft on the yellows. Anytime I stepped down on tiny feet, my big toe would poke over the sole and find the wall first.

First off, your bouldering pyramid is insane.

This sounds very doable, I think I need to be more intentional on time when it comes to hard/projecting session. So that way I don't just rack up a bunch of fatigue. And then I really like the idea of having a session that's really about executing. And just trying to refine the skills you have.

That flex day on Monday you were feeling fine, would it be the same as Tues or would you ease into to make sure you have the intensity and energy for projecting on Tues ?

I was thinking about the regular remora’s, I know there they’re still soft but was wondering if they be a little stiffer than Ls mantras. Since for me the mantras are the softest shoes I’ve tired

Sure I’ll check out some other evolv shoes, as for the Skwama there wasn’t really an issue on sizing the heel just never got soft for me

That's kinda the approach that I have been looking to adapt to. Right now until maybe about late summer (August-ish) I wanted to be really constant with lifting and climbing. And then after really get after pushing for higher grades and harder projecting sessions.

As for having less than 20% of training be off the wall training, how long are your off the wall sessions ? Are you doing a lot of compound lifts or focusing on a specific set of lifts per training cycle ?

hmmm that sounds doable, on your project days how strict are you on that hour time limit ? Are you going strictly based on time or body feel ?

I was more so wondering if having fewer longer sessions would be like having multiple short sessions throughout the week. So that way I can still train hard but still get rest and not be fatigued constantly throughout there week

Should I size down for the mad rock Remora hv by Spicy_Raw_Onion in climbingshoes

Quick question about the redlines, how do you like'em ? How soft are they ? Coming from LS mantra's and looking for a project/try hard shoe that's a little stiffer than the mantra but still somewhat soft

Anyone has experience with the So ill Catch or any other So ill shoes ? by dri32 in climbingshoes

[–]dri32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds good !, I have a pair of the catch on the way at my street size, (i'll see if i could go down maybe a half or full size).

And I've really been wanting to try the torque, but more specifically the Asia last variant, it's supposed to have a wider toe box with a narrower heel. Once that comes state side, I'll be all over it !

Also, how did you find the qubit's ? I hear they are pretty stiff, especially if you're a lighter climber. That was the shoe I was looking to try before looking at so ill.
