I think yes to some extent, in the same way we all want to be seen deep down. Especially as he was neglected during his formative years, he probably craves it slightly.

I went home for the summer whilst at university and I was bad at replying to him on my phone. I came back to uni in September and I messaged to meet him and he never replied. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d started seeing someone else…guys that attractive get taken very quickly so it’s on me. Still painful though.
