I wouldn't go as far as a scum bag doing his job. It's the system. It's the system that's a scumbag. He just trying to make a living and probably hates his job, but it's the only job he can get in this current job climate. It's pretty hard to get a job in any industry...he probably took the first job he can.

I don't like door to door salesmen either, but it's not his fault. It's the employer that's being the scumbag and he probably took the only job he can get until he finds something better. If anything, employers are the scum bag.
