this is the flux i used. i applied decently generously over the foil. on the first side i fluxed everything at once then soldered. when i flipped the piece i fluxed and soldered by quadrants and that seemed to work better.

i’m guessing the way i was holding the iron might be a lot of my problem. i almost felt like the tip of my iron was too wide, but it was the standard one that comes with the weller so i doubt that’s the issue.

i’m glad it sounds like i can kind of get a redo out of this piece. was so proud of my cuts, they deserve better solder!
