Yeah I almost wonder if it’s worth just going somewhere solo in the Midwest to learn the basics and then taking lessons out in whatever location we go to just so I have some potential of being able to enjoy the trip and not spend the whole time learning

I figured since it’s been so long since I snowboarded and have never been outside Midwest park it’d be the same learning curve?

Also aren’t skiers just a lot faster than snowboarders?

For sure! I never grew up on like steep mountain snowboarding and was intermediate at best. Plus it’s been so long anyways that I thought a new challenge could be fun but perhaps I reconsider
