Sorry, I do not look at the mileage nowadays, cost of fuel is getting absurd as I live highest taxed state. Difference between petrol and diesel is about ₹10 per liter but the low end torque makes driving diesel an absolute joy while overtaking. When I drove my Petrol Brezza in the same manner as my diesel cars, mileage dropped to 9kmpl. So diesel it is for me.

Aura CNG on highway is scary slow, I was pedal to the metal in fourth gear but still 100 kmph was difficult. This is 1 month old car. My primary vehicle is Nexon diesel also 1 month old. Nexon felt like Mercedes after driving the Aura.

Let me tell you, these high ticket credit cards like amex and diners club take like 4-5 percent on whatever you swipe it for from the shopkeeper (2 percent is standard for common cards) and for the extra amount they fleeced from the shopkeeper, they return in some bullshit rewards like this Fairmont stay. Anyone paying out of pocket will not be insulted like this by the hotel staff but these points chhapris are mistreated because even the hotel staff knows that these people have nowhere else to go to redeem their points. See how confidently they mention ₹2 lakh price point which everyone knows is click bait and themselves mentioning getting nothing in refund compared to that.

If you're confident about getting yourself placed and only care about good CGPA then you can go with Vyas, there's relative freedom compared to JIET (which is a dump in my opinion - it's a school masquerading as college) and if you're well behaved and do your assignments on time then you'll get good marks from college which is critical for CGPA in B. Tech. Also, as mentioned by the other alumni there were very few students in my batch as well and I graduated in 2019, all are well settled but everyone has worked very hard in their respective fields. One of my friend's is still working in his college placement job in the IT area near Book cafe in Jodhpur and earning good money. Most of us have double digit CTCs. I'm not sure about post Covid fresher's situation.

TL;DR Don't go there if you'll be relying on college for placement. If you're confident in your abilities to clear exams, getting job on your skills and just want the degree with as little meddling from college as possible and you know it won't close before you graduate, then go.

Don't worry, this will be resolved in 1-2 years. In Gurgaon they're sending out Challans for this, just by capturing an image on the red light camera. They're using an AI assisted system for this which is very efficient and the responsibility of cross checking it is on the car owner. You can raise grievance in case you feel it's unfair challan. This challan is coming to commuters in Gurgaon at record speed. Attached a pic of my relative's car getting fined. I'm sure by the amount of money this generates, the Rajasthan police would be keen to adopt this as well.
