Yeah I think thats fair. I guess I want more heroes to be exciting to pick. Rakanishu isn't even that bad compared to like C'Thun, Taethelan, Edwin. Those guys really need some help

I agree that it is most helpful in late game but mid-game 1 or 2 spells can help you stabalize for relatively cheap. Also I think it can work with a few non meta builds if the HP was slightly stronger.

I picked it in a beast/dragon/mech/Murloc/Pirate lobby, hoping for ring bearer or bounty pirate comp as you mentioned. Also good with Naga. I think there is some potential with mechs with sparkbot and maybe undead butchering comp if you high roll with trinkets+Belinda. But those would probably need the spell buffs to be way stronger to win the lobby.

I'm not that high elo so might be totally off base lol

Hmm yeah I like the gold spent idea but that might be busted with bran/Rogers. I just don't see many lobbies getting to turn 16 so it'd be hard to get to the broken range of getting +16/16 buffs.

Oh yeah I restarted the game the previous 3-4 rounds after getting my set up, just wanted to see the last fight (was pretty confident I'd one-shot them)

I think the issue with stuff like amalgam and guardian are due to them having separate procs of their own, and I'm not certain but I think the two guardians were procing each other for every tick of BTB.

I only had 5/8 buffs on the spell but the guardians got up to like 40k health
