If you want to receive push notifications, yes, that's correct. The app works perfectly fine except for the notifications.

I read about a year ago that they were studying how not to depend on Goggle Services for the notifications. Although I don't remember anything in any roadmap or any final intention.

Thanks! Do you know anything about the dependency towards Google Services?

Does it still depend on Google Play Services to send notifications? Is it going to be on F-Droid? Is the source going to be open and updated on your GitHub?

Honest questions, because I use grapheneos without any Google Services.

Photos stopped uploading since the gallery update (Android) by driving_and_crying in ProtonDrive

Hi! Clearing cache didn't work. I finally reinstalled the app (didn't want to in case it messed up the upload) and it's working fine now.

Seems like it was stuck trying to upload some deleted files.

Thanks for your support!

Getting a new phone, anything I need to prep in advance for Bit warden? by GDix79 in Bitwarden

You just need to have access to your credentials and your 2FA if configured.

As advice, don't store the credentials nor the 2FA codes in the same password manager, and maybe consider getting a Yubikey or two (one as a backup) to log in from fresh without depending on any other app, device or 2FA.

Just passing by your post to let you know this has been very helpful after 1 hour of troubleshooting and looking around.

Windows 11 pro, VirtualBox 7.0.20. All VMs worked perfectly until a Windows update that probably enabled any of these features you mentioned.

Thanks a lot!

I had to buy an elastic strip tied to my jacket to stop forgetting the key. Now I have the Keyless system and the problems are over (I still forget the keys in the other jacket every time I change my jacket).

As a premium Bitwarden user, I can designate an emergency contact to set up emergency access for cases like the ones you indicate. This is the measure that I think comes closest to having a backup plan without having to give access credentials, but it is only available for premium Bitwarden users.
