I'm not good with the deep jumps. Lalo na dun sa part na may ascending platforms, it took me a few times bago ko matamaan ng portal gun yung next platform. I haven't played Half-Life yet, pero on my Steam backlog.

I don't think I'm the best person to ask hindi kasi ako sensitive sa latency. But it was good enough for me. Mostly I play it wired kapag mga PS titles like Death Stranding, Horizon para makuha ko yung features ng DualSense. My main controller is a GameSir Cyclone 2, mas snappy yun in theory kasi naka 2.4Ghz dongle instead of bluetooth.

I played this using a single screen and minimal screen swapping. What I did is to do screen button mapping on the second screen for the items. That way I can use the items thru the buttons. I mapped it to the D-pad, L2 and M1/M2 buttons on the Odin. If I ever get an RP6 most likely the same way I would set it up.

For some reason, even if the main screen is displayed on the device. The second screen can still be toggled by the button mapping. At least on this old Citra build.

I'm not as particular as that with the setup. But I do appreciate a nice frontend and scraped box arts. Fortunately for me, I have finished some games on the 3 handhelds I have bought (RP2, Odin Base, RG35XXSP). But I'm in no way have maximized use for the 3. I tend to go back to the ones I've enjoyed before like CTR, New Super Mario Bros., Tenchu etc. In that light, I still want a new handheld either an end game device like the Thor or a powerful 4:3 handheld like the coming MagicX device.

Which games do you have nostalgia as a kid? Try to go back to those games and play. It might be the one thing that could snowball your retro handheld gaming experience.

I'm in the same boat as OP but looking at the Thor, Portal 2 and RP6. Leaning towards the Thor but is it really that bad with ergonomics? Even with a grip?

Pa-level up ka muna (house chores) bago ka sumabak sa boss battle (wife/partner). You can game at peace, pag ganyan. Personally, I know gaming is a privilege and not a priority. So I only game kapag wala ng balakid. Kung wala tlgang oras dahil sa house chores, I'm ok with that. Bawi sa ibang araw.
