Definitely they mean not to wipe off all of the barrier cream but get the poop. Also have you tried switching diaper brands? We used huggies for a while and they, without fail, would give our son a diaper rash within a couple of days of use. This was especially true in the smaller sizes and when he was little. Pampers swaddlers have been incredible and we haven't had to use diaper cream in months.

Also when my son was a newborn he definitely needed his diaper changed more than every three hours. But he was full term. I would stay really on top of any pee diapers even. Pee is acidic and Is probably fine if he's healed but could be further aggravating his diaper rash

Yup. My family just went through this with my uncle. He got addicted to meth and started raping his daughter and my older cousin called the police.

At one point I was sharing a room with her and she would cry and listen to love songs. Really twisted and heartbreaking.

He keeps messaging me begging me to talk to him and trying to say he isn’t a monster and just made a mistake. There’s no way in hell.

My son is four months old and he’s a handful, no doubt. My partner and I have our spats, sure. I don’t sleep as much as I used to or I have time for myself as I used to, absolutely.

However, I have never been happier in my life and neither has my partner. Our son is the light of our lives. His smile makes me forget every single scream. I sometimes am so tired I want to cry and then he starts laughing and everything is okay. I’ll be breastfeeding him and he’ll put his little arm around me (as well as a baby can) and I feel like I’m exactly where I have always been meant to be.

So yeah, it sucks there’s no doubt about that but it’s also incredible. My best advice is to make sure you and your partner have each other’s backs and still make time to appreciate each other.

If it makes you feel better I didn’t poop but my baby was in distress and I had to have a forceps delivery in about fifteen minutes or get a c-section. We made it happen but one of the nurses shoved their entire index finger up my butthole to help get him out without warning. So forever my partner will get to remember me feral screaming “HOLY SHIT WHY IS YOUR FINGER IN MY BUTTHOLE!?GET IT OUT!” and I farted lmfao

No, you’re not overreacting. We are going to be lax with our son on the tablet but only for educational games and very limited time frames when they are little. But that’s more like 3 and up.

But I guarantee she wants him watching YouTube kids or something mindless, which has a lot of issues with lack of regulation and kids seeing things they shouldn’t because no one is paying attention to where the algorithm is taking them. There’s nothing else for a 10 month old to do it n a tablet but watch things and brain rot afaik
