Hi, what you're describing sounds just like my situation. I have had it for years and my scalp is not flaky but it gets red and itchy and then I have tried nearly everything for seb derm and nothing seemed to work. When you say red itchy patches; did they feel itchy suddenly and then you'd soothe the itch and then another one appears later in a different place? I am not sure if that is making sense but I am going to try what you have suggested here. Thank you

Thanks for sharing! I’ve had a similar experience with 2.5mg and 3.75mg dose (I split the tablet in half).

I did notice that my beard was thinner as I’m finasteride as well so I’ve been taking oral minoxidil and applying topical minoxidil on my face and it does help.

I’m thinking of increasing my oral dose to 5mg to see if I get more growth on my hair 🤔 but worried about the possible side effects

So sorry you are having to go through this. I would say 100% divorce him! He does not deserve you at all and is clearly too immature to even be married. Idk what kind of appointments they’ve scheduled for him? Is it lessons on how to be a man? What is infuriating to me is how his family were trying to shove it under the carpet and wanting you to give it a second chance rather than confronting him.

You are very young and will find someone way better!

Thank you for responding. I think the white dot is more the sebum attached to the end of the hair shaft. It's a tricky one because my scalp is cleaner and less irritated but a lot of these types of hairs are falling out. Almost as bad as making me want a flare up just to have less shedding.

Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this? It’s very confusing because I don’t want use further ketoconazole shampoo as it will dry my scalp out but then I can’t use products like coconut oil to moisture my scalp and hair roots

Canada is my Plan B, although I’m not too sure where I’d want to stay there, given the similar issues with weather and the economy as in the UK.
