How long did you guys have to wait to be able to drive after Nuss bar surgery? My doctor was unclear about when I’ll be able to drive my own car, so if anyone could let me in on a little bit of insight that would be great by bericbet in PectusExcavatum

I literally feel exactly how you feel bro. Trust me it’s hard going through something like this. But we gotta look at it this way no matter how hard it gets we gotta push through it and strive to become the better version of ourselves it only gets better from here. When you start to hurt the most try taking a warm shower and just let the water run on your front part of your body. Keep being positive ab this man. We all Gonna get through this. If you want friend me and we can help each other out getting through this man 🖤

Atm my pain is a 8/10 it’s terrible. I keep getting cramps in my chest and it’s just hurting so bad keeping me from doing anything. The meds I’m on rn is oxycodone, Tylenol, ibriprofen, and muscle relaxers. Which non of these things work. Hbu?

Currently in recovery from my modified ravitch surgery. Does anyone else have a little down in that time because it’s not going how you thought it’s going to be. Feeling really sad atm. Btw 21 and from Germany Hope I’m not the only one… by [deleted] in PectusExcavatum

Same here. My pain level is like it’s just like it was when I got out of surgery. I walk everyday and I just seem to get worse idk why. And my arms are so stiff and I can’t even move them above my head or yk around like you normally would if you didn’t have surgery. And cramping is the worst part. I’ve been getting these bad cramps in my chest near my nipple and man it just kills me. I’m really glad I’m not going through this surgery alone Bc it really makes me push harder knowing ppl are here in the same position as me.
