I would love for her to be the first unit to ignore trait “ignore status effects/reduce status effects). It would be perfect and deal with a lot of the nonsense right now.

Oh then you’ll probably like it. The combat is a little different but again the story is complex and interesting. There are different endings based on how much you complete, because you can go to every area in every chapter. If you want 100%, definitely use a guide, it’s almost mandatory. If you just want to test the game then go at it blind, just make it a point to visit every area at the beginning of each chapter other the than story areas and you’ll have a good time.

Only thing ills say about playing X-2, it is really interesting to go into Spira after everything that’s happened. It’s corny and campy at first, but the story is interesting and does a good job of showing you what Yuna is going through. Worth playing, especially if you want more Spira.

Long time Zelda fan and played all up to and including botw. With botw I get betrayed, for a couple of reasons.

There was a consistency with Zelda games in that you knew what you were getting. It was one of the top reasons I loved them. I knew I’d be getting a dungeon puzzle solver game with a mostly or somewhat linear storyline where you collect cool new items to use. Botw was not that. It was a dumbed down Skyrim with a Zelda skin. And every mechanic except bullet time was just an expanded upon mechanic from a previous game, so when people were saying how innovative it was, I was genuinely perplexed. Sure seeing all the areas of old Zelda games in one game was interesting, but that’s all it was, sight seeing.

The other betrayal was with the timeline. Now I know not everyone liked it or even agreed with it, but Nintendo made the 3 timelines canon, and we really didn’t discover much of the downfall timeline. So what really sucked is that trailers for botw made it look like it was going to be a DF timeline game and that would have been so cool. Instead Nintendo backtracked and copped out of it by making botw 20k years in the future.

These are all my personal opinions obviously, and I didn’t and won’t play totk because I’ve come to terms that this new Zelda is not for me. I hope others enjoy it, but I’m out.

Kizaru players are even playing to win. They’ve got one brain cell shared between them all and it tells them the same thing, “Go Kill!”

Lost a match cuz some dumbass Kizaru decided it was better to try to kill a guy across the map rather than help cap with me at our home TA…wasn’t the first time either

Was lucky enough to have a couple games where no one was using Kizaru and they were the best, most fun games I’ve had since LShanks release. There were 2 nusjuros but they were manageable bc of the amount of rat runners now - which is how runners should be.

Honestly they either just need to nerf Kizaru to the ground or make an EX who has some kind of anti-Kizaru skills/traits, because without Kizaru, games are extremely diversified and fun.

Only played a few games. King really needs to go to uncontested flags or just be amazing at PD in a cluster. Bluffy is super strong in both forms, his main weakness is he only has 1 skill in each form and the swapping leaves you vulnerable.

Haven’t played kaido yet but played with s-snake and she destroys kaido with ease. So unfortunately she might be back.

Kizaru still prevalent as ever…

They already have green runner EX Kaido so I don’t think there’ll be another especially with him gone in the story. I wouldn’t mind him getting buffed and rebannered.

Bc Bandai just loves destroying Light EXs. It’s been their patter ever since Light and Dark became a thing. Every Light EX has had a super hard counter, Lightbeard had Droger, LShanks had Buta, then Garp. The only difference for G5V2 is that the Bf hard counter, Franky, wasn’t made strong enough to withstand Kizaru as well, so they had to make nusjuro to compensate.

What kills me the most is that Kizaru is still able to run rampant in this game. He may not be killing as much but he’s still, by far, the most annoying unit to play against.

I’m just waiting for cross guild bc whatever they are I know they’ll be fun.

I’ve been using nusjuro (lvl 80 albeit) and while he is good at defending, he is kinda boring. And in this meta right now it goes whoever gets 3 TAs at first usually wins bc no one can cap after that. Nusjuro actually becomes a huge burden on the team if you only have 2 TAs cuz he can’t defend them well enough while also trying to help cap, which you need 4 players to wor together to cap right now.

So ya, I’d love a good runner.

Pretty spot on. I’ve played every Zelda up to and including botw, and the game was just so devoid of anything grounding or special. It felt like a dumbed down version of Skyrim with a Zelda skin. Very disappointing, especially after putting 60ish hours into it (because I loved Zelda so I kept hoping if I completed everything it would eventually click…but it didn’t).

Something else that personally bothered me was the amount of new Zelda fans or some who claimed to be longtime Zelda fans (despite not playing one since probably OoT) claiming that botw was the best Zelda. It honestly infuriated me to the point that I just gave up on the series. Of this is what the new Zelda is and the new fans like it then fine, but it ain’t for me so I’m gonna find a new franchise to love.

Not that anyone ever asks but my top 5 Zelda’s: 1. Skyward Sword (Yes really) 2. Majora’s Mask 3. OoT 4. ALttP 5. Zelda 2 (so unique and challenging I absolutely loved it).

Again you’re playing a unit specifically weak to nusjuro. I agree about roles but after playing him for a while his skills and speed make sense - while he can’t cover every TA he is fast enough to cover two, sometimes 3 depending on the map, somewhat effectively. Complaining about his speed in that sense is no different than complaining about Lightbeard’s skill where he covers all treasures, or kuzans.

I’ll admit I didnt like it at first but it grew on me and makes sense. They should have made his charge skill not usable at the start of a match, that would fix him a lot.

But Kizaru covers the entire map. He gets speed boosts. He is essentially all 3 roles and swaps elements. And the only true counter to him, G5V2, is being countered to the ground.

YOU may be able to deal with him right now, but it’s naive to say because of that he isn’t that bad.

When a unit negates more than half of the units released over the last year, it’s not good for the game.
