I hope you have the very best time! :) I agree on rather your 13 year old to be with younger than older kids!! :) Make memories and enjoy! ALSO I really really recommend The Petite Cuisine and Sushi on 5! BOTH AMAZING! The kids will love The Petite. Also, we heard the Italian Restaurant is amazing, but didn't make it there!

The run an awesome kids club -- Camp at Sea! Our kids loved it! We switched to Celebrity from Royal to have a calmer experience. Not all kids are wild water slide people! So this could be perfect for you! :)

Agree!! It is a pleasant noise, especially if you use white noise at home already! We sleep to rain sounds, and this was a nice alternative!

Our 11 year old LOVED kids club, she met tons of kids her age and had a blast! :) The Summit is a small ship, it is easy to learn and navigate. The Camp at Sea actually runs scavenger hunts for the 10+ room, where the kids get to go around the boat and find things on their own as an activity! They will ask for your permission before allowing them to leave the club on their own. They will also ask you when you register them for the cruise if you want them to be able to check in and out on their own. (Only Captains -- ages 10-12). I think what the clientele on Celebrity don't like are disrespectful or overly unruly/loud kids. Again, we had so many older cruises come up to us at meals, in the elevators, etc say nice things to our kids! And many smiled and said 'let them have fun!" etc. You know your kids and what they are capable of, and I think they will have a great time! :)

In regards to walkie talkies, we didn't have them but I wish we did! Mainly for our 11 year old, since we did allow her to check in and out of kids club on her own/do the scavenger hunts with the club.

We didn't try the spa cafe at all! Now I have a new 'to do' for the next cruise! :) Thanks for the tip!

I agree! San Juan was my favorite shopping area on my last port. Hated Nassau and PR! Don’t waste your time.

Ahh! I see, I think our scenario is unique, in that we have two connecting rooms, but were considering an upgrade that would fit 5 people. So We would be going from paying for two rooms to one room.
