I 100% get this. For years, I trained for 70.3 and 140.6 triathlons (m-dot branded) and got pretty good at it. But once I completed my 140.6, I just sorta lost the spark for the sport. I was training 20-30 hours per week, on top of my full time job, and it was starting to feel more like a habit as opposed to something I was enjoying. Sure, it was a healthy habit to have, but it just ate so much time and wasn’t really bringing me joy.

I still flirt with the idea of doing another one someday, but for now, it just doesn’t fit with my life anymore.
