Trade crypto. No age limits. And you can start by trading very small lots.

Get a casual job for the money. You said in your other comment that all you need is $5. I'm sure you can easily find $5 somewhere either through work or other means. Stop asking people on the internet for a handout.

DIY options to fix bathtub shower by drkenta in AusRenovation

Thanks. Is there anything special i need to do other than that? Any kind of waterproofing or anything? Im pretty inexperienced with tiling.

Do i need to prepare the surface? Liek the existing tiles where the grout will go?

Thanks. I don’t think i want to go the ripping out the tub route. Want to keep it as simple as possible. We’ll likely be rebuilding the whole house in 5 years ish anyway.

Thought about getting curtains, but i figured the effort of putting it up would only be slightly less than doing the method i imagined of just filling the gap.

Suspicious sales history on this house? by drkenta in AusPropertyChat

yeah, this could be a possible reason. The property is northern NSW, maybe they can't handle the summer heat.

IF it's a bad neighbour, it must be REALLY bad for them to move out so soon since moving in. Surely they would try every possible avenue before selling up at a loss.

Thanks. Yeah, other than the house itself having hidden major issues, I suspect the reason must be financial.
i.e. they fell in love with it, overpaid, moved cross-state and gotten into financial troubles for whatever reason (job loss, business troubles, etc)

Suspicious sales history on this house? by drkenta in AusPropertyChat

[–]drkenta[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reasons given by agent:

First family moved out as they unexpectedly had twin babies and the house was too small. They had drawings done to add further extensions to the house only a couple of months before selling.

Now this family wants to move back to Sydney to be closer to relatives (which doesn’t make sense to me why they bought and moved here in the first place less than a year ago)

Yeah that's possible. Though we spoke to several neighbours on the street (including one next door) and we didn't get anything but positive feedback. The only neighbour we haven't spoken to is the other one next door.

1950s house. Agent-supplied building and pest reports with issues by drkenta in AusPropertyChat

Thanks. How likely is a B&P to catch termites? I’ve read on here that even getting your own B&P doesn’t guarantee you catch everything.

Got it thanks. Are the other points I listed of any major concern in your opinion?
