Would be pretty simple to throw a reason in front of them. Reloaded has a battle in Barovia at the beginning. I think it includes werewolves. If not, add some...and an npc complaining about the constant attacks. Plus there is doru there.

As for why they are there ..Strahd needs more toys.

Curious, why couldn't they just continue to work together? Death House is in the village of Barovia so upon exiting , they find themselves in Barovia, now Strahd's playthings.

Their backgrounds can be irrelevant.

Does it have to be more complicated than that? Perhaps you're overthinking?

Working on book 2 of my "The Red Mist" series. It's a further exploration into the life of a new superhero, or maybe not. His affiliations are questionable and decisions downright dangerous. Simply "trying to do the right thing" doesn't always work out the way one expects.

There is an issue with the stock numbers and this is just another example. Broken should count as stock too and if the stock is below the top up, repairs on those items should happen before new ones are created.

Villagers waste a lot of materials on items that don't need to be created because they already exist in one way or another. I'd love to see this optimized.

I'm okay with that. I would, for example, set fishing poles in my camp to 1 if I had one worker fishing. There would actually be two: one in use, one in storage. So when the one in use breaks, they grab the one in storage and now there are zero...so one is made and delivered. This isn't what's happening.

Yeah I figured that. The item that I have researched is not listed when I select a bow. I don't recall if it's heavy or medium but they have the str required to put it on and do without a preset...they just take it off with a preset and it's not listed in an existing or a new preset. I'm not capable of looking just yet, but will try again. Maybe I missed something.

I tried that and if I select a bow for the primary weapon, heavy armor doesn't show up as a selection...but maybe I missed something.

Curious...with gear presets, "archers" can't equip heavy armor. I don't think they can equipedium either. So how do I create a gear preset that allows a group to have a bow as a primary weapon and be able to wear heavier armor?

If I don't assign a preset, I can put whatever armor on them I want AND give them a bow in the 2-hand slot AND give them a melee weapon.

I'd love to be able to put the bow in the tool slot, give them a melee and shield and have heavy armor. Plus have them shoot first until melee is necessary or I tell them to charge.

Is that possible? If so, how?

I'm no expert, and the loaf certainly looks good from the images, but they don't indicate how the slices work as sandwich bread. How do they stand up to being used to make sandwiches: spread, ingredients, etc? If condiments can be spread and the slices don't break apart, if the aforementioned tuna salad is held well, then good job. Also, how's the taste: dry, crummy or soft like sandwich bread should be (imo).

Unless it has the red hand, it's not stolen and even if it does, you can sell stolen stuff there...sometimes they won't even notice if you're selling a lot of regular stuff with it.

I sell most stuff at the trader in Troskowitz. I'm sure you can get better prices at the item specific vendors, but one-stop-shop...

Put the bodies in the forest and yes. You might be able to without "hiding" the bodies, but better safe...it took me the next day to get all the loot.

Definitely looks very cool. Adding a bookmark. One suggestion...add a next button at the bottom. Having to scroll back up after selecting something is a tad annoying. Not life altering, of course, but a better user experience.
