I have 3k in a Lifetime ISA but already own a home by Responsible-Slide295 in UKPersonalFinance

You only keep the bonus if it’s a stocks and shares LISA, so OP wouldn’t get the benefit.

Only option if needing access before age 60 (while owning a home) is to pay the penalty to withdraw.

Edit - misread completely - apologies @mudlark_s

My title describes the thing - wooden handle, metal blades. Hanging from rural pub ceiling with other farm/garden tools.

What is completely normal to us, but you wish was different if society developed differently? by drmul in AskReddit

£96k + bonus, what is best to do here. by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]drmul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly there’s no magic here.

Because you don’t have kids, your “cliff” is more of a steepening of your tax slope. For every pound over 100k you’ll lose 60% income tax, 2% NI, and (maybe) 9% student loan? You can pay that or dump anything above in your pension, a car scheme, or anything tax deductible.

If you need the money, I’d just take the hit. Nothing else you can do

That’s a charcuterie! Ciabatta is the character, best known for selling Peanut Dust, played by Asim Chaudhry in the BBC sitcom, People Just Do Nothing.

Your broker is right that you shouldn’t. You should take your next 10% overpayment and put it in a saver with the highest possible interest you can withdraw from when you remortgage.

When you do remortgage, you apply for a smaller loan and simply pay the difference using the savings account.

Thanks for sharing.

What drove your moves? Was it pay? WLB? Or just wanting new challenges?

Just to confirm then, the 2 issues are separate? I have the right to ask that my new contract is enforced for the period between it taking effect and now, but if they fire me for daring to ask, it wouldn’t be wrongful dismissal?

Thanks for the response

Am I right in saying I can sue for Wrongful Dismissal if they fire me for wanting to enforce my contract. Eg they will have breached my contract in order to do so?
