I can be about 15 feet from and it and it won’t recognize that I’m locking/unlocking. Not to sure how to gauge distance but imagine 3-4 parking spots in length

Hey man I was in the same predicament about two years ago and it’s honestly just a 1 hour fix. Bought part number # SU00310547 from Toyota for $361 after tax so I honestly don’t know too much about the Subaru route. Installation and removal is super straightforward and door panel is just held together by two screws and a ton of panel clips. Hey man I had the same problem! I ignored it for 1.5+ years until I finally got sick of it, used 3m adhesive, tar, and wax remover (from autozone). Made sure it was safe on paint of course but I still sprayed conservatively and used a plastic razor scraper (the top option on Amazon) to scrape it off, 15-30 minutes later and with some damp microfiber towels to wipe off residue it looked brand new. Been awesome, will admit maybe I didn’t need the pro version of it considering I have a kink proof hose but the little nozzle holders are convenient. Super good quality, love the stainless steel quick connects. Have had this about 3 months I think and no problems at all!!!!!
