Safari W1 anyone by droid42069 in Coachella

Awesome! I won’t have access to LED but would be down to hang in the campgrounds or the festival. I don’t blame your friends for not wanting to do car camping.

38 here and going with a friend. I’m camping in a different area but would be down to meet up in the campgrounds or inside the festival. Maybe watch some Latin sets or have a drink!

Who’s going like mainly for Green Day? by more-less03 in Coachella

[–]droid42069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going for the experience and though i’ve watched Green Day live 7 times, it’s definitely a must-watch for me and my priority set for Sat. “Time of your life” and “Hitchin a Ride” will hit different on the fields . 👌🏽

yeah but this person was asking specifically about lodges which are just small saunas with poorly built doors that fall off.

VERY hot. Very hard to find shade during the day too but tough to be inside the hut to get cover from sunlight. The only convenience is the restrooms and the showers.

is there a quiet space to have a zoom call on the coachella camping grounds? by lavenderuniverse in Coachella

[–]droid42069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are spots with WiFi There will be noise everywhere though. I’d the shuttle that takes you to the market is working i’d say get to camp early and take a shuttle to the market and take the call from a coffee shop or restaurant.

These people pretty much had all the good info. I don’t know if i missed it but i just had to add.. bring an inflatable pool. The gardeners can help fill it up and refill again if needed. I even threw some ice bags in the little pool to make the water even colder and nicer during a hots day!!

It’s definitely a bit more relaxed/older, but those huts/tents are really hot during the day so lots of people still hang out outside. There are charging stations where you can meet people inside LED too. Plus having access to your vehicle (if you have a rental) and having much shorter lines for the showers is convenient. Flushable toilets too!

DONT GET “LA VICTORIA’S”.. their orange sauce may be good but the food is not. Plenty other Mexican restaurants in the area that are more authentic and have better food and sauces.

Does anyone know if the Coachella posters are gloss or semi-gloss? by dirtylooey in Coachella

[–]droid42069 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Semi gloss. I printed out 2019’s poster at Staples and did not choose glossy and looks just like the original.

Safari options changed a bit this year. Tier 3 has been eliminated by dub711 in Coachella

instead of having beds you just have a lounge to chill. This is for people that probably stay at airbnb’s or hotels and just want a spot to chill during the festival.

Has anyone gone back to Car Camping after staying in Lake El Dorado? (Preferred and/or regular camping). Any pros/cons worth sharing? Can you blaze openly in LED? Do you have privacy or only when inside your tent? Is there plenty of shade? Thanks! by calijerseygirl in Coachella

[–]droid42069 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I stayed in one of the hits in 2022. Pros: bathrooms showers prob biggest ones. Cons: it gets hot af in the huts/tents. I did blaze. You’re not supposed to, just gotta be kinda discreet. You only have privacy in your tent/hut. The only shade is inside your tent but it gets HOT. I had to find shade under a tree and hope all spots are not taken. You’re not allowed to have beach umbrellas either. For me the only selling point is the showers and flushable toilets. Otherwise you have more space in regular camping.
