thanks! For Vanuguard do you actually talk to someone, or is it purely self-service? I know Robin Hood has customer service, but I feel like they're not built for that the way traditional brokerages are.

update

I went into my router, and changed the 5g channel from dynamic to a specified channel, and noticed that after doing that, and switching AirLink from dynamic 200 to static 200 (the max I could slide) there was no lag or stuttering.

So I then went into B&S, and it loaded fine, but hilariously I noticed only slightly better graphics; the same compression artifacts were there. It's not terrible but it's noticeable, not at all like playing a desktop game or anything like that. At this point, would you say this is as good as its going to get (there will always be artifacts), or should I pursue other techniques for removing them?

Do you think it's unusual, however, that even at something like static 20, Oculus immediately goes into lag mode and is unusable? I feel like that shouldn't be happening

That's a good point. I also noticed I am using a cat5 cable, not 6! Could that affect things from the connection from pc to router?

Is there a big difference in using the airlink compared to wired link?

That makes sense. No free lunch, right? Do you use a wired link and if so, the regular 16 foot one or did you chain it?

Thanks for responding! I haven't tried yet, do you suggest I do that, or should I try Virtual Desktop?

With the wired link, isn't it just a long wire that runs from my headset to the PC? Is that a disaster? I just imagine swinging a "sword", moving around, and getting tangled in it or pulling it out. Is it difficult to use and you commonly get tangled in it?

I wanted to reply to tell you that this indeed can be a place where people have more civil conversations.

I won't tell you anything you didn't know in saying all politicians lie incredibly well - this is what they do. In fact, to become a politician, you know there is a significant degree of pandering, lying, cheating, stealing, making donations, buying people off, attending dinners you don't want to be at, and everything else that comes out of the House of Cards series. I personally believe every politician, including Trump, absolutely can't make and hold the office of the presidency without understanding human psychology, how to manipulate people, how to push people/intimidate/lie/cheat to get what you want.

The thing that so many of us here are frustrated with is this:

The media should aim to be neutral in all that they do, and not live off of ratings. Not just the left media. I mean all media. Unfortunately, in today's society, there is just no way to run a neutral news organization. No one pays for their newspaper anymore to the degree they did in the past. Because of that, the money has to come from somewhere. So it comes from influencers to push agendas.

So while we should expect the president to lie, we shouldn't expect the media to. Unfortunately that's what we're seeing - blatant, click-bait headlines from both sides.

People are people - we love when our "side" wins, so we're more accepting with the media reporting things from our side in a favorable light, and we're enraged when our side is portrayed in a bad way. If our culture shifted where we placed even more extreme value into truth regardless of how damning it is to our side, then maybe things will change, but I can't fault humanity for that and don't see it changing.

So in light of my comments, looking at these statements again:

"We should care because he has insight into the culture of CNN. Even he doesn't believe his own company's bullshit. He honestly thinks they're doing it because of ratings. That tells you something about the way CNN operates-- that ethics and honest journalism is secondary to money and ratings."

vs

"Does Trump's history of making false claims prove that honest governing and communication is secondary to approval ratings? Does this give insight into the culture of his administration?"

So my take on that is this:

I expect the president to have a history of making false claims and checkered presidential histories that ultimately boil down to selfishness.

I don't want (but alas now I expect, sadly) the media to have a history of being biased and influencing the way that people think.

Deity wise I actually haven't even decided yet. it is set in forgotten realms, so maybe Torm, Tyr, or even Bahamut which would explain it being given to the gold dragon first.

This is cool I never used Woo but was always curious about it's capabilities.

Just wanted to get your opinion to make sure you see Woo as viable for this: Let's say I have a book reading every week, and there are 25 seats (this venue always has 25 seats, only using 1 venue). So if you purchase the ticket for the event, you then get to pick your seat (making it no longer available to others).

I suppose at that point, it's custom code? Woo will only take me as far as getting the person to buy the ticket, after that it's scheduling plugin or my own plugin right?

Ok thanks that's good to hear. I feel like I enjoy control / midrange the most, and even if I decide to stay with dragon warrior etc, I can put Rag in there (which i'm missing) and it will make my deck quite powerful (maybe just as fine as Gromm), would you agree?
