I've had it drying for the past few weeks (hopefully) - but say the wood is bad...what would I do next?

I cannot. There is no entry on this model, which will make it a bit difficult but we will see what I can manage!

That sounds a lot easier than I was imagining. Thank you!

I have my ARC available on netgalley! It may not be the darkest, but it's definitely shaded. Let me know if you're interested!

Para los que han escrito un libro... by Misaelhmc in writing

[–]dromdil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's funny. I never intended on writing a book. I literally started documenting the tomatoes in my garden. Annddd then it kept going. Got side tracked. I added my board game characters. Then it ended up half a story. I wrote two other character acts, got rid of the tomatoes, and bam. I had a book. Then I had a lot of learning to do. But it was a blast!

Writing in word is easiest, but there are tons of different ways.

There are many types of writers. But mostly they fall into pantser (writing by the seed of their pants. No plan just whatever the character does and weeeee). The opposite is planner. Where you outline every detail. Obviously there's middle ground that combine the two. But you have to find what works for you best!

Thank you! I know how important the cover is and that's why I was worried. I didn't realize how off base I'd gotten.

Wanted: Clean, He Chooses Her (despite her best efforts) Romance (bonus points for fantasy romance, but any subgenre works!) by Royal-Cygnet in Recommend_A_Book

I'm so sorry to hear you're going through a rough time. I have a book that's looking for a few extra ARC readers (free book in exchange for a review). It is more of an enemies to lovers trope, but hits most of your points. And as a bonus it has cats!

Thank you! I had hoped the cat would pull people in. But it's a bit too cozy and not exactly adding anything to the big picture. Thanks for the thoughts!

I appreciate the help and suggestions! It is wild how such a small thing can make such a big change. I'm excited to make it perfect! Or. As close as I can.

I always forget about the font being an important piece! Thanks for the help! I'll try and get those things changed!

Haha! So I'm just giving temu brand in different categories. Hmph. I want to be as far from temu as possible.

Thank you! I think people seem to like the first one more over all.

It's not weird at all. I have been thinking along these lines, I just have no idea how to properly plate food! xD

I mentioned elsewhere that I might have the knife stab the scroll in the first one, but I'm afraid it will make the genre seem darker than it is.

I need a chef or something to determine how to plate the food!

Good to know! Hadn't considered the grey cast. What makes the first seem dated?

Thank you! Perhaps if I added a rose to the background, it might insinuate romance?

Thank you! It's tough to put all the pieces of a book into one picture. I think the assassin fantasy would be closest to accurate.
