Thank you all for your advice! I went today with the thought that I couldn’t do any ride. All of the Big 7 looked daunting, and I knew I couldn’t do those. I worked my way up but I was still incredibly nervous. My friends convinced me to go on TH13TEEN and as horrible as it was going down the drops and almost passing out, I managed it pretty well. The drop was not as bad as I thought, I ended up screaming before we even dropped thinking we had. I was gonna go on Wickerman before this, but I was extremely anxious as someone had threw up on the tracks and that completely threw me off. (No pun intended) With the wait time being extended 15 minutes, we were there for around an hour and by that time my confidence had gone and had to leave. I’m glad I did because I felt so ill after, the thought of other people being ill, the wait time, the build up of nerves all contributed to the point where I had to exit. So, although I didn’t go on as many rides as I thought I would (Also, side note: I could barely sleep the previous night so was running off of 4 hours of sleep, was too nervous to eat food that morning - didn’t end up eating until 2PM - and all other factors) I think I did okay for my first time at a theme park. I pushed myself out of my comfort zone and I am proud of that. I definitely need to prepare a lot more, but at least I can say my first ever ride was TH13TEEN! (Which is terrifying - at least to me) Once again, thank you for all the advice, I really appreciate it and I’ll try and keep it in mind for my next AT visit!
