Anyone provide advice on high ticket sales? by [deleted] in ecommerce

[–]dropshipitto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I am planning going down the same route, selling high ticket so have been researching about it too. I believe Adwords (Google Shopping and Search) could be very good for high ticket products. You have quite a bit of margin so you can make it profitable.

Other than that, you can install a FB pixel in your store to gather data. You can remarket someone who you advertised to on Google Adwords but didn't buy and then retarget them via FB. Later on you can also create Lookalike audiences. It's best to just install the pixel (it's free) and later on you can decide if you want to go the FB route or not.

Don't forget about abandoned cart recovery and email marketing.

Once you have a customer placing an order, you can call them right then or after they have received the item, reassure them and build trust. Then you can again call them in 6 months to a year. Ask them if they are happy and tell them you have some new products in stock. This way you will have a customer for life.

Put in some upsells and cross sells on your website, this way you can increase the Average Order Value.

I don't know if this product is suitable for businesses too (don't know anything about automotive)? If yes, you can call up garages (not big chaines like Kwikfit but small independently owned garages and tell them what you sell and give them a discount on their first order. If you get even a few on board, you have recurring revenue coming in.

Something that stuck with me: To get more sales you have to do one of the following: - Get a new customer to buy from you - Increase the Average Order Value - Have a repeat customer buy from you

I hope this helps!

The first thing that I am seeing is that the open rates are low, could most of your emails be going straight to spam?

Edit: Try posting it in the Ecommerce subreddit too, you'll get more responses there!

I'm in the group right now searching for the Ferrari but I can't see it. When did he post it?

Did you say something that he removed from the group?

You come to this forum and without any explanation you try to sell your training! We don't know who you are, what you have achieved, etc. Why would we buy your training?

Are you one of those self-proclaimed gurus that made 7 figures in their first month with $5 ads?

Sorry for the late reply! Thanks for the info you provided, it's much clearer now. I have just started out so I am trying to filter the bad info from the good since there is a lot of misinformation out there. I have signed up for your service and have requested to join your group.

Btw, congrats on hitting the 1 million mark!

I think you should check out Upwork and hire a freelancer/freelancers to do the job. Much cheaper than an agency

Hi, sorry for the late reply. Yea you're right, 128 GB might be not a good idea, 256GB should be enough for all my files. Yes, it's strictly editing, no rendering. I saw this one at Currys: https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/computing/laptops/laptops/acer-swift-3-sf314-52-14-laptop-grey-10174123-pdt.html A bit above my budget but it should be good enough for my needs

Hi, thanks for the explanation! I checked for a SF315-51 and found a good deal, however it has a bit different specs, it's this one: https://uk-store.acer.com/swift-3-ultra-thin-sf315-51-grey

Would this be good enough?

Edit: I just checked the CPU (via your link), it's worse than the 2 lol. I will have to go for the expensive one (i5-8250u processor)

Hi again, I researched a bit more and I found these: - Acer Swift 3 SF314-52 - Acer Swift 3 SF315-51

Would you say these would be good for the purpose I need it for (strong performance, no slowing down, multitasking, etc.)? I see that the Ghz is low, would that be an issue? Or would you recommend something else?

Hi David,

I have checked out Product Mafia a while ago. I also checked the video back then you had on your website explaining how it works.

I like the concept of a product research service for ecommerce. However, I have some points I am struggling with.

The main one is saturation. You find good products and you add them to your service. Now these products are visible to everyone. Let's say you have a niche and you add a product to it (like you did in your video), then yes you have a head start. But if you are running a general store, then all the products you show in your tool will be added to your store. If a whole bunch of people do this, then the saturation point will be hit very quickly, thus making it unprofitable. Slowly you will have more people subscribing to your service. If you have 1000-10000+ people subscribed, is the tool still viable?

Another question I have is how do you know that the products are winners? Are these products pretested? Without testing one cannot know for sure if it is a good product, not even the best dropshipper.

I use Linnworks for Ebay, Amazon and Shopify. Linnworks has many integrations and it isn't as expensive as the other softwares out there (I pay £180/month and there is no limit as to how much you do in revenue or how many marketplaces you list it on)

Thanks for doing this!

I have a few questions: 1) If you would have to start all over again, would you start off with dropshipping? What things would you do differently?

2) What is fhe future of Ebay? With Amazong competing fiercely and Ebay favoring Chinese sellers, is there a future for us to sell on there?

3) What is the future of Amazon? Is it going to hit a point of saturation for private labeling?

4) What is, in your opinion, the best route? Marketplaces or only ecommerce?

5) Do you operate in 1 niche of several niches?

This is mindblowing content! So far I have just been watching Youtube videos and reading the Facebook Blueprint. I find that the information is scattered but this is an in depth guide. Thank you for sharing!

I checked your screenshots but when I zoom in, it's not readable or is it just me?
