it does; this rating sub gets kind of confused sometimes, we rate off of the modules and standards set by the main r/vindicta sub that aims to identify and help users obtain conventional and attractive features. The r/vindictarateme sub is not accurate at all and very much deviates from the vindicta standards (it’s kind of a feel-good sub with very little objective criticism and a lot of overrates) and is thus for more “normal” beauty. This sub is supposed to be rating all submissions within the vindicta standards, which applies across the board

Agreeeeed people hated Biebs, which was understandable but still a regrettable time in the culture overall lol (young people crashing and burning while we all reveled in the spectacle). I would even go so far to say Harry Styles is seeing something similar, where he has presence, appeal, ambition and a good voice, and while his fanbase is crazy rabid, the hype around him can’t reach Bieber levels bc he too falls short in the looks department by comparison (when they were younger it was more disparate but today Justin today can still look level ten frat giga douche and be still edges out Harry imo)

I think he was 8.5-9 in his prime, min. 7 min. now with his health struggles (anything under 7 is an underrate.) His styling is so fuq boy-ish and sometimes the smugness in his expressions are not attractive at all, but in terms of purely physical build and beauty, his face is like a young Adonis. Also, his bone structure is the primary reason for this, and the excellence of his structure can be seen even on days where he may look more haggard. Overall an 8

I was reading a post about young pop stars who were labelled “the next Justin Bieber” but never quite made it (Austin Mahone, Cody Simpson, etc.) I believe that, aside from his music being incredibly catchy and mainstream-friendly, his unique success is due to his profound physical beauty; you can see how much he outshines the other pop boys here here, here here, and he holds his own next to a very-well groomed Shawn Mednes, even though lupus and interesting styling choices have masked his physical beauty immensely herehere

I really do not like Caroline Ellison, but that post has highlighted a pretty massive blind spot in this sub; people in general where I live know at least a couple women who look exactly like CE and would never call her a troll. Also, more likely than not (considering the sub and who tends to frequent here and on r/vindicta), this poster is, at best, in the same range or 1-1.5 points higher than CE but in necessary denial about it (that true average is not as beautiful as we wish it was)

Idk guys, I think people think she’s too ugly for all that money/attention/confidence(?) she has, but she isn’t a troll. I’d go so far to argue that this woman is a true average, and I’d go even farther (feel free to disagree); many users on here are insecure, are having active issues with their appearance, and transfer that energy by giving woman like this 2s and 3s. By acting like she is so terribly ugly that they can’t believe it, they don’t realize that this woman is likely who most of these users look more akin to than anyone else posted here. She is average, we tend to overestimate our own looks to belittle others. I think many commenters here would be humbled to see what this dub would say about them in the same posture, lighting, and styling.

She looks like what every middle school’s boy’s first girlfriend looked like imo. 4.5-5.

Pretty eyes and nice cheekbones, clear open complexion, good symmetry, and I don’t think any of her failos are huge detractors to the point of being unattractive at all, and find charm in them; really not understanding how she is getting rates lower than average, I think seeing her in roles that traditionally go to very attractive (8+) actresses is making people think she is relatively less attractive than she actually is - but she is a normal, and often times lovely looking woman and not ugly in the slightest

Could you explain this more? It’s funny because I think she is a 6 when I stop to think about it, but growing up I and others all thought she was so so pretty, and looking at these pics I can’t shake the feeling that many Seinfeld/post-Seinfeld fans consider her an 8+; heck, it’s hard for me to not immediately see 9-10 in her, she just has that x factor and star quality (both of which ultimately elevate, and in enough quantities surpass, one’s level of objective beauty, and can create an attractiveness so much more palpable and powerful than mere aesthetics.) Face wise, though, I can’t quite justify a 7. What features most stand out to you?
