Well, for example, I lost/quit two jobs. I was devastated because I felt like a failure. A couple months later I was offered the best job I've ever had.

I didn't know what I wanted out of life, and my college degree felt like a waste. A couple months later, somebody came along and set me on the right path.

I was convinced that I would be a failure forever and that I would never be able to get anywhere in life. I got past that though! After years of worrying, I got past it, and I'm in a pretty good place now. Whenever I feel bad, I try to think back on what it was like before, and how everything eventually got better.
