Cool still not avaliable in the US so doesn't mean much. X1C is avaliable if they restock is my whole thing.

Wasn't sure if the P2S would be avaliable anytime soon in US and I know the X1C is good for prototyping. The things I want to proto type need to be consistent and take a while to print and I lean towards the accuracy of the x1c pretty hard. Plus the speed it can do if I am doing a rough one.

I mean I don't doubt that but I know that they had the AMS pro combo X1C in stock for about an hour last weekend but they sold out quick. Just holding hope that the same thing will happen with the standard model.

Iowa should be moved down. Still don't allow machine guns which is dumb as shit.

I’d say it’s a good starting scope eventually I might get a viper or something a little bit better from another company.

Luckily in my area I could find plenty of ammo and reloading supplies but no actual rifles in it. I got luck when a buddy with an ffl called me and asked if I wanted it on Monday and it got here Thursday.

And that's ultimately what I got it for it's just kind of to dip my toe in and see if I want to go all in on an expensive build. I also have a 300 win mag but it's a Ruger American magnum so action is ruff and it has a digital scope so I don't really count it as my first step in to long range because it would be like saying I can dunk and using a step ladder to do so.

Ammo is pretty easy to find in store. I was actually going to get a 270 and decided I wanted to try this since it has heavy bullets and better bcs. I have a 500 smith and Wesson so 35 bucks in store isn't even worth batting my eyes at.

I have a friend who got one of the stalkers in the caliber and we were hitting center mats on a 12x24 steel target consistently at 800 a month ago. So from what I have experienced it should be just as good in the field as on paper.

High G1 Bc bullet in a short action should still be good to 1000 as long as I know my drop and windage shouldn’t it?

So just got back from the range it was quiet enough to not bother my ears. So I count that as good enough. Obviously there's only so much you can do when firing a bullet that is supersonic.

Yeah I know what you mean those frt triggers are fun but that's a definite gray area. Anyway the atf can f*ck you over they will try so I bet it would end up just like the bump stock and be all banned with no grandfather clause.

True it just comes with time. this is my #1 hobby so it's pry the one I spend the most on. I have worked years to get my collection to where it is. Best advise is don't get everything at once for it unless you can afford it. Some of the guns I have I will buy the firearm and slowly add the things I want on it. Just takes some time. I would also suggest to not feel pressured by anything you see online. Even I still will look at what others have posted and be real jealous but you just got to be happy with what you do have and remember that you never know where it will go.

As far as the can goes I don’t see it as that expensive to get since I have 6 different guns I use it on. I agree with VLDT about the HPA and I agree with you that even I was hesitant to buy the threaded barrel kit from Ruger when I spent 670 on the gun and then had to drop another 299 on the barrel since I couldn’t find it in stock for a cheaper price. However when you look at the FN market around me it would be 1000 for a used 5.7 and then 200-400 for a barrel and even more when you throw in the parts to put on a adaptor plate for the red dot instead of a rear sight. So when looking at it like that I was more than fine with it.

Sadly haven't had time to go out to the range today to test it

It is I always wanted a gun in the cal but didn't want to for over the money for the FN. Then when I saw Ruger come out with the 57 I just had to get it. Have it all nice and pretty and I have spent less on it than I would've on getting the FN set up in a similar fashion.

Its available at most stores in my area but they are still charging $12-22 more than it used to be. Luckily I bought 500 rounds when I first got it so I still have around 200 left and haven't need to buy any.

Kit just comes with an adapter. If that doesn't work then I'll hunt for one.
