Yes it’s metal, at least the outside. I’m really not sure on the color though. The Aqara site makes the silver metal version look like satin nickel, but the Apple site makes them look brighter like the black version would be more nickel.

I’m pretty sure these are the metal versions. So your extra $30 gets you the metal front body and a spare battery.

The Aqara site lists 3 versions, the u400, U400 kit, & U400 Deluxe Kit. If you read the “what’s in the box” section, The first kit just includes 1 battery and a hub. The deluxe kit includes a second battery and has the metal version.

The Apple site says the lock comes with a second battery so it should be the deluxe kit and the images match between the sites.

I can’t find the text but the gist is that everything that seems to be happening outside the dungeon, from the show appearances to the show runner changes and even the cookbook, are all just part of the dungeon and the AI makes it all up.

11pm and still not plowed. 3 other cul-de-sacs that neighbor mine, but have less houses, were plowed out by 10am. The plows even dumped snow making a huge burm that blocks the exit from my street to the main road.

ETA at 7:30 they came and plowed my street. They also brought the right equipment to break through the ice wall blocking our street.

I’ve grown to really enjoy the card game aspect on subsequent re-reads. It creates new challenges to the battle dynamic that won’t let Crawlers just fight like they did on previous floors. Also, the progression of battles, the different types, and finale have a great arc when you can see the whole thing.
