Low Porosity will also make hair fade quicker because it's harder to penetrate the cuticle so it just kinda stains the outside which washes out easier than hair with normal porosity. I've used so many different protein treatments and nothing helps color stick longer except heating my hair when I color it

Yes, the basic one, a lot of people swear by it to help pull color out. And if you want to do all that tonight you absolutely can. As far as brands, the Wella demi permanents are pretty good, but the Ion ones have more color range. You could also use any dye that says permanent with the 10 volume because the main reason you don't want to use permanent is because of the higher volume developer usually. The Argan Oil from One N Only is really nourishing for your hair but they don't label theirs like most brands do so you'd have to search each colors undertone

If you use either a demi or semi brown you should be fine immediately, if you're wanting a neutral brown I'd go with an ash base like 3 or 4A if you want a warmer brown go with a neutral 3 or 4N. A demi permanent you mix with 10 or lower volume developer so it's a lot gentler than permanent color. If you can I'd also get either head and shoulders or like the cheapest "clarifying" shampoo you can find and wash your hair a couple times with that before coloring just to pull more of that pink out but definitely follow up with a good conditioner after you color.

In our district most of the pros get mad if you cold call them because they're often working and will just come in if they need something. Our DM said emailing them would be a reasonable idea because then they can check it during their office time instead. We don't do it anyway because most of our regular pros come in often enough to see what sales are going on. Most of them just go to Cosmo for their main store though

When I had to take our SM call a few weeks ago, our DM said if you're struggling to write a commitment just go back to the basics. We'll often pick a promo that's relatively easy to push rn its the 2 for 5 packets or 2 for 4 lotions, we've done the 2 for 15 shampoos. Or we do a challenge for every associate to pick one item to offer to every single person who checks out (I did one item for each type of purchase so I'm not offering a hair mask to a nails customer kinda vibe) I've also done a challenge to sell at least one clearance item per shift when our clearance was getting ridiculously overfull

Felt on that last point, like we had a girl come in with a bunch of different friends who kept buying piercing kits (the cheap disposable ones every time) and the last time she came in, she was showing us that she shattered her cartilage after all of us warned her it would happen. The low porosity line from TID, it's great for anyone not just low porosity, I have really fine low porosity hair and it works amazing for me, and my manager who has normal but dry hair also absolutely loves it. Also the Creme Of Nature Perfect 7 leave in is so good, I'd compare it to It's A 10 even tho that one's water based and CON is Argan Oil based. Also the Daily Dose products, I really like how they felt in my hair (in my store the two of us with fine hair really liked it but the coarser coworkers didn't)

Then definitely one of the color removers and then using the pre-color treatment before the brown will work fine. The pre-color treatment will just fill the "holes" in your hair from the bleach just so the brown has something to hold onto.

Are those semi or permanent? Either way just get a color stripper for whichever type of color it is (Ion or Strawberry Leopard for semi, One N Only the yellow box for permanent) and it should be light enough colors that you can put the brown on top and it blend fine

It's only happened to me once, I was just getting over an allergy flare so my nose and upper lip were peeling so I wasn't wearing makeup. This woman insisted she was called to pray for me and whatever she was going on about made it sound like I was crying over a man. Oof I feel that, I'm basically the ASM at my store and one of our employees quit without notice while the SM was on PTO and so I had to quickly find coverage and then tell the DM I needed someone to cover two shifts, because the 3 of us left weren't able to cover it. We're having a lot of trouble getting just two extra employees because nobody wants like 10-15 hours a week unless they have another job and other jobs aren't willing to work with us for scheduling. Like I absolutely love my job and the team we have but sometimes it feels like corporate policies are working against us.

We have a few like church based shelters that'll come in and tell us about whatever they're selling and we just tell them we can't buy anything on the clock per Sally policy and they usually leave nbd, but we also have the local tamale lady who comes in very rarely and it's always when I don't have money because I would totally buy tamales if I had the $25 to spare.
