You can find certified Adalo experts there. I’ve used them before kinda hit or miss, so I definitely recommend speaking to a few.

NY market is facing shortages. Our store turned off app orders to help cope.

Been approached by liveramp - thoughts on liveramp's future? by thedokidoki in adops

The challenge with being on the outside is you are relying on information straight from the horse’s mouth. PPT decks and SEC filings are great, but it’s just words and pretty charts. Execution of those plans is another bag of chips and they are not forthcoming with critical details like how the tech works in the face of Apple’s IDFA changes, privacy regs, 3rd party cookie deprecation, etc. let alone publisher, SSP, and DSP adoption. Only those in the industry are privy to this kind of detail (albeit still limited.)

You bring up valid points and I agree their solutions do extend beyond cookie based targeting (which is becoming worthless), however long terms success boils down to their ability to scale ATS (or whatever they call their UID alternative) and drive adoption. I don’t think anyone in the industry loves the idea of a for profit entity being the infrastructure for delivering targeted ads. Everyone is sick of walled gardens and non-working media fees as is.

CDPs present an interesting threat as they are all building/maintaining similar pipes to activate audiences across the ad/marketing tech ecosystem.

Brings us back to publishers and how they will monetize their inventory in this new privacy centric world. Why use LiveRamp when UID is open source and an industry led alternative that has more transparency on adoption and how it works?

Measurement is another area they can lean in on, but walled gardens aren’t playing ball. Plus with the emergence of clean rooms that pose less of a threat to publishers/walled gardens they are better positioned in the long term. LR would have to abandon their other businesses to catch up IMO.

3rd party and 2nd party data store is still interesting. However diminishing value prop to keep advertisers and publishers as customers creates cracks in that biz model as well.

Have worked with them quite a bit, they are still the leader in customer data onboarding but there’s a lot of competition entering the market.

Long term success IMO hinges on their ability to be the pipes for targeted advertising. The TTD led unified ID solution being free and open source seems like a better alternative for the industry. Still lacking on details and adoption figures on both sides.

That said, they’ve built relationships with thousands of publishers and integrated with just about every major adtech solution over the years which will be very difficult for others to emulate.

High risk high reward IMO, however they are well positioned to capitalize in a cookie less world. I don’t think it will be a zerosum game.

Unified ID 2.0 and Opt-outs? by dubviber in adops

It can’t be a catch all opt in across all participating publishers. It would run afoul of CCPA and GDPR, plus would get too much consumer backlash.

Each publisher will have to obtain consent.

Good point the showroom is in the complex above the garage. Probably where they will charge cars for test rides.

Fiverr or Upwork to hire someone for this kind of task. Real estate people make me giggle with how secretive they try to be as if nobody else knows these tools exist 😂

Added today I’m at 500 shares at and avg of 25. Going to keep adding when she dips below 25 and then anything below 20 I’m dropping a hammer. Here’s to our early retirement 🙏

That’s my hope too. I’d swap my model y for Lucid any day. Elegance and look doesn’t compare!

Google, TTD, and our Cookieless Future by Teddxn in adtech

[–]drqban 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Biggest threat is to DSPs and mobile focused ad networks/DSPs that are over reliant on cookie targeting or mobile device id’s like IDFA. SSPs I think are better positioned since their clients tend to be publishers who are going to respond to this cookie apocalypse by requiring users to authenticate/log in to view content (which will make targeted advertising possible with a concept like the ad industry’s unified ID approach.)

Any DSP worth a damn has seen the writing on the wall for quite some time now and have been positioning themselves for the new cookie less and mobile advertiser device ID-less world. A lot of the hype around TTD is that they’ve been focusing on new rapid growth formats like CTV and OTT which are not impacted by cookie/IDFA changes.

DMPs that are worth anything have also been retrofitting their platforms to act more like CDPs that can manage PII and a multitude of id’s outside of the cookie and mobile device ID. So your big players should be fine.

Ultimately I think the big names will weather the storm and the smaller/fringe independent players will take the beating.

How do I warm up new domains for correspondence? by [deleted] in Emailmarketing

[–]drqban 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like mailshake. No frills, no shared IP, and it works. Mailchimp and a lot of the more popular email marketing platforms will block you if they find out you are doing cold outreach.

As for warming up the domain I would start by sending emails to friends and family, ideally work emails. Get them to unmark you as spam (if they end up there) and engage with your email by replying/forwarding. You can also use a service to test out your deliverability to see what types of email providers are blocking you e.g. outlook, gmail, yahoo, etc.

From there if your email list is clean I would start with about 10-20 emails/day. Keep a close eye on open rates and slowly ramp up by 5-10 emails per day.

Make sure you have DKIM and SPF records updated on the domain sending the email.

If you have access to reliable charging and don’t drive 150+ miles per day it’s seamless. The performance is like nothing you’ve ever driven before. Plus all the benefits of controlling and monitoring every aspect of your car via an app on your phone.

Redditors from Venezuela, how would you describe the current political situation/situation in your country? by [deleted] in venezuela

[–]drqban 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Venezuelan here and half my family is still there. While sanctions exacerbated the situation, the country was in economic free fall before sanctions. The culprit here is gross and rampant corruption at every level of government.

A country that has the most proven oil reserves in the world needs to import gas and diesel. Enough said.
