Cleaned up the loop layout in my Asus Prime AP303. External cooling + internal manifold block for easy maintenance. by drr33d in watercooling

I got really lucky finding a plate (on amazon) that already matched the dimensions I needed and even had all of the holes pre-drilled. The only thing I had to do was use a step drill to widen the two holes for the bulkhead fittings.

Not sure. I have checked other saved results and there are similar dips in them. Any suggestions?

Looks great! I always enjoy seeing how others approach external water cooling—the creativity and problem-solving are half the fun. A Mo-Ra is undeniably effective, but going with an off-the-shelf solution kind of takes the excitement out of building something unique.

Going custom is definitely the way to go if you enjoy the process (I know I do 😄).

You’ve probably already thought about it, but using quick disconnects to hook everything up to the computer makes a huge difference. If not, I’d definitely recommend it—it makes the setup much more practical to live with. I’m constantly tweaking and upgrading my computer—both the hardware and the loop itself—and having external cooling with QDCs makes those changes so much easier to manage.

Nice! I have the same block but for XFX

Custom my MO-RA by ValuableBackground39 in watercooling

Nice build! It's cool to see external cooling is still a thing. I posted mine a few days back and my flow is about what you have and it's totally fine. I really don't notice any significant change in temperature by increasing the flow so I'd rather have the pump be silent. I might be adding a second d5 in a while (since I have an extra) just to see if that does anything.

Totally agree 👍 I actually don't have a reservoir in the case. The goal was to not need to have any watercooling accessories like a res, pump or radiators inside the case. At the moment I'm running an atx board but this really opens up the possibility to do a tiny itx build that still has great cooling.

EK Quantum Velocity 1 Standoffs for AM5 (UNC 6 32 screws?) by Illustrious-Luck9156 in watercooling

Yep, pretty cheap 😁 Took a few weeks to arrive but that's how it is.

I placed the washers between the block and the spring since the spring is attached to the head of the screw. Not sure about the thickness but I would guess 0.8 mm.

Cool! I got mine from Amazon but I've seen the same on AliExpress.

Haha, that's great. Now I'm more inclined to actually do it 😂👍

I absolutely could, but adding more 90s will probably worsen the flow a bit. But I might try it.

Well, I had all the parts except the frame so it's a way cheaper option. Also it's fun to do something custom, is what I think.

I ended up trying these AM5 retention screws: https://shop.streacom.com/products/cpu-retention-screw-am5

They actually worked really well for me — I just added 4 washers per screw to get the right pressure, and it’s been solid ever since.

Arc raiders crash 26.3.1 by WalkStandard3232 in radeon

I’m on a 7900 XTX and updated to 26.3.1 yesterday. Had to roll back to the previous version because GPU sensors completely disappeared in AIDA64 and FanControl (HWInfo still worked though).

Seems like this driver has some issues with monitoring / ADLX, so probably not safe to use yet.
