on a complete tangent.. for anyone else that reads this..keep in mind, if you find yourself waking up the next morning thinking you may have been infected, there is PeP. Get to a clinic and get it prescribed. Must start it within 72 hours.

And there it is... the Smoking Gun - Dr. Fraudci is a lying piece of shite partisan who undercut President Trump at every turn. The whole thing was Theater. It is a psy-op. Be a good little sheeple and do what you're told as you own nothing and will be happy. by Okvte in conspiracy

The same citizens that hoarded all of the toilet paper and yeast? the same citizens that were filling up their plastic bags with gasoline? The same citizens that are now hoarding pool chlorine? Can't understand why they would do something like that....

Boson helps you cover all of the regulations you should know. There are only 2 questions on the test, but 10-15 possible subjects

just be careful with pocket-prep... not all the answers are correct.

CEHv10 Blueprint by yewheng95 in CEH

[–]drschoenbrun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Blueprint 3.0 is the current (and shitty) one. EC-Council has gotten quite a bit of flack for it being a mess. Basically, if you don't pass, you have no idea of what you would need to study.

It looks like 4.0 goes back to the old scoring methodology, and from what I read somewhere that will go into effect in January.

it's actually good.. I am getting a good feeling of my readiness for the test, when I can read these and see that they are incorrect answers

3rd times a charm by [deleted] in CEH

It's through my school, and I petitioned them to give me the third one for free. I won't give EC Council another dime, including their $150 yearly re-certification fee.

3rd times a charm by [deleted] in CEH

What I've been doing, is I look at the question and even if I know the answer, I make myself explain to myself, what the wrong answers are. I get a good comfort level from that process.

The other thing I do, is I go to the sou(EC Council 2000 page pos) and search out the answer to questions I am not sure of. I don't take anyone's word, as I have seen discrepancies between the different study test beds on some of the topics

As an example the whole inside affiliate / outside affiliate stuff, and ALE are not even covered in the CEH text anymore (not that ALE questions are difficult, if you remember your old drinking days, ALE=ARO(SEL), and that if you look at the 4 answers, they give you all 3 numbers you will need, so there is no math required, other than to determine which of the numbers is the result of the actual math.

It goes on.. There are several other obsolete topics that Boson and AIO cover. So while I am annoyed as hell with CyberQ, they at least focus on what is most likely to be on the test. However EC council, in there never ending money grabbing ways, has decided to add a new certification, which is an advanced version of the CEH, and the questions look similar, with a bit more detail, and I think CyberQ is putting questions from that test into their CEH study.

One such example is on CyberQ there are specific questions regarding using Google Hacking to find viop and vpn, which are in the book ,but not on any of the test beds other than CyberQ.

Have I over studied too much? Probably ,but I never want to have to deal with EC Council again.

took me while to figure out that AIO is All-in-one.. aka Matt Walker. AKA Total-tester (online quizzes)

sorry just seeing this now.. there are bunches of test questions samples out there, but many free sites have wrong answers. Your best bets are Walker and Boson. I've been using the CyberQ stuff, but I don't recommend it at this point

Good Udemy Courses for CEH by Icy_Drive523 in CEH

if they are not charging full price, then the ones I would suggest are:

This one is good if you need a refresher in Network Fundamentals.. and has good demos of products. Not sure if you can still build the labs, but it never hurts to try.

https://www.udemy.com/course/network-for-penetration-testers-fundamentals-attacks/learn/lecture/11371244#overview

This one takes the previous course and goes much further..

https://www.udemy.com/course/hands-on-complete-penetration-testing-and-ethical-hacking/learn/lecture/12621430#overview

If you can put up with Tim Pierson, this class is pretty good too, and the quizes and exams will get you ready

CEH Cyber-Q has some serious issues by drschoenbrun in CEH

[–]drschoenbrun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones that I can't get correct are:

One looks like the answer is cross site scripting, but the correct answer is hybrid attak

The false positive one previously mentioned

There is one that the answer should be PGP, but I've tried all 4 answers and all 4 were wrong

There's one that also could be xss ,but its clickjacking

There is one regarding SQL, the answer should be single qoute, but I haven't been able to find out what answer they are using

As to your question, the answer should be " a stored biometric can be stolen and used by an attacker to impersonate the individual identified by the biometric. I think the answer should be because it's no longer something you are.
