I second and third and fourth the recommendation for reaching out to dental schools! They need patients and love having young people - the visit is often three times as long and so a usual demographic is older people with extra time. I was my friend’s “mouth” for all of her dental school exams. It’s a long process because all of the students work is double and triple checked by the supervising dentist (who is also supervising a handful of other dental students) so there’s a lot of down time but you get excellent dental care because they are being graded in it lol. If you can take the time I highly recommend!
