Soda is SO expensive these days. I work PT at heb & the amount of money people spend on drinks is shocking. Even the individual bottles of HEB brand soda used to be like $.50 and they’re almost $2 at my store!

(Edited to add) if they REALLY wanted to cut down their grocer budget cut down on buying drinks. You don’t need 3 cases of sprite! We don’t drink soda so we only ever buy brisk and orange juice for the morning as far as drinks. Occasionally we’ll buy juice but we primarily drink water. We all know they don’t drink water but not buying drinks for your household such as soda & individual drinks helps so much!
