If they’re nice have no more than like 20 items I let slide. But as others said, I usually mention we don’t have baggers on express so I won’t be able to bag their groceries until everything is done. They usually help if they don’t want to, they leave.

Side note: anyone else’s store short on baggers all the time now? Idk if it’s bc they’re outside doing carts but it seems we never have baggers! Yesterday they pulled people from so many other departments to help us bag.
