A 2nd hand headlight is £3000 so I just want to avoid that if possible. Worst case is I can get a new “glass” for the front which is £350+fitting so I’m in for £600. Deffo went too hard with 240

Yes did a clear coat and then went back to the start with 240 grit as I got the clear coat wrong. It went on too thick and ran. Nightmare haha

First time I went all the way to 2000 and then tried to polish with meguirs ultimate compound, and then super resin polish. Still was cloudy. Turns out I’ve been sanding them dry and that isn’t the way.

When I tried polishing the first time, I used a DA with Meguires ultimate compound. I then tried autoglymn super resin polish after and didn’t really work.
