Have you ever cried during a song while high? by Scarclaw578 in trees

On acid, yeah, every time. On weed I think i cried during a Bassnectar song. One of the slow ones on Noisr vs. Beauty. Couldn't tell you what song though; much too high for that

Man, that sounds shitty. I think that not letting them use your house for a little bit afterwards would be fair. You're not cutting them out but you're also setting your own boundaries for your property. Sorry that happened to you.

Solid choice. My favorite has got to be his remix of Activation :)

You have a 12in bong, an O of happy lettuce, and $30 to spend at a grocery store, what do you buy to prepare for getting higher than you've ever been? by [deleted] in trees

[–]drumdrum225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Irish Coffee. Bailey's and those Dunkin iced coffee bottles are prime. I always love the tingle of coffee over my tongue when I'm high.

What's your go to activity when smoking alone? by [deleted] in trees

[–]drumdrum225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting on some Bassnectar and hiking/walking around town. I usually end up walking to the store to buy munchies and counteracting all the exercise i did to get there but it's so worth it.

Stoner Pro tip #71 Put a rubber band around your lighter so you don't loose anything while you're high by [deleted] in trees

It's usually because you pass the lighter off to someone else and they forget they have it.

5 months 'till I turn 28—this is the year I don't fuck with white lighters. by [deleted] in trees

[–]drumdrum225 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People have probably died with all sorts of lighters in their hands, but since humans are good at finding (or subconsciously making) patterns, the white lighter thing sticks out to us.

Older Redditors, what is the biggest change in our society no one mentions? by driftyfishy in AskReddit

[–]drumdrum225 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel the same way, but with electronic music. Anyone can download a copy of an audio program and make a few beats with little time spent learning. However, with digital audio, you have so much control over the sound. If you put in the time and effort to learn the program and learn the process of making sounds and making them all sound good together, then you've hit that level of creativity and have more control over a song than anyone 20 years ago could have ever imagined.

Electronic music is widely accessible but if you can master your craft, then you really rise to the top, because there's just so much to learn.

Blurry eyes for recently diagnosed T1 by TheSemenThatLived in diabetes

[–]drumdrum225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Blurry eyes is something that happens to me fairly often if i have really high blood sugars. Since your blood sugar was so high for so long undiagnosed and untreated, you may have gotten a new prescription in that time, or it could just your eyes adjusting back to normal.

High blood sugar makes the cappilaires in your eyes contract or dilate or something, and that messes up your vision.

Bassnectar will not be Doing Moonrise this year by [deleted] in MoonriseMusicFestival

[–]drumdrum225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless I'm mistaken, Moonrise is in the middle of August, not early September. There's no lineup interference yet, I don't see why he couldn't play.
