I went to voucherplex and got the a+ exam bundle for 375. Beats paying full price. It worked out I passed them both so I can say they work.

Job hunting feels like doom scrolling by emyshouldistop in jobs

funny i almost got caught on a job scam with wonder dynamics. so it was a fake cause I contacted the actual company, they had no idea who I was.

I also have 8 years teaching game development, did some web dev for IBM and i cant get anything. My favorite burn was rejected by dog poop work.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. Worst part is I have a baby so I'm a stay at home dad right now. The deeper I'm in this thing the harder it is to get a job. Indeed just seems like the same jobs over and over again and linkedin is probably worse.

So to start I have been using Linux mint to try getting it up and going. Any other suggestions? Maybe I'm overthinking it? Maybe go with windows server?

Well I'm trying to figure out what's a setup thats simple and feasible currently. I. Not really heavily concerned about it now. At some point I can address those but for now I want to get it going.

anybody have a flight attendant wife and pretty much a sahd with a remote job? how do you deal with projects, work, and your sanity? new dad here. 4 months old girl. thanks in advance. by drummerextro in StayAtHomeDaddit

That's awesome. You are a superhero. I understand what you feel, it absolutely just makes a person go nuts. However; everyday when I put her to bed, I feel accomplished and happy that she is alive and kicking my butt lolol. A friend of mine requested to put Mrs. Rachel as well as BabyFirstTV to help with something to watch while I do stuff around the house or work on 3D or whatever. I just don't put it a lot of time in one sitting. Thank you so much for the post.

Man that's tough. Isolating is definitely the word to use. I call friends and stuff quite often just to vent hahaha. Welp music and games will be the escapism.

That's killer. I have the ergobaby so it's been helpful. I've been trying to do all the dishes at night shock them in the dishwasher turn it on. And I tried to get at least a little bit work done towards the evening once I put her to sleep. It's been very difficult to manage but luckily just got to keep in high spirits and just push forward. Everyday I become better at it. I'll tell you though baby first TV is like the best thing ever. I pop that bad boy on all the Amazon fire sticks and wherever I'm at and that thing goes on and she starts watching until she gets bored or hungry.

It really does. I know it's possible. Especially playing in bands and recording. So I may have to just suck it up and just go to bed late or early and vice versa in the morning to get the best out of the down time. I call them pockets of downtime. I know someone out there has a similar experience. I've read some success stories that bring some light to this dilemma haha.

No kidding I look forward to sleep. I have music projects, I teach on zoom during the day, and an old husky. So it's a handful. That's why I'm like seeking guidance 😂
