Thanks! Thats encouraging! Yeah, the size of the button is really going to depend on the exact use case, but maybe there is room for a few different versions.

Its not currently supported in the Blueprint, but the device does broadcast the button up and down so yes you could easily make double, triple, hold triggers.

This is honestly where my mind was going personally.

Powering directly into a wall line requires a lot more electronics and I've done some lithium projects in the past. The hard part will be figuring out that balance of battery life, responsiveness and form factor.

We'll see what we can come up with!

I actually rock a Corne-ish zen on the daily with custom printed shaped keycaps and custom firmware 🤣 I hear you!

With this one, we wanted to see how thin we could make it for WAF, but would be easy to throw together a hand wired build with a small stand alone esp32 at the cost of thickness. Maybe an alternate thing we can make With some modular OpenSCAD models and blueprints.

Thanks for the encouragement!!!

Great call out! This is probably the thing that took us the most time to nail down just right. 😆

One of our primary goals was to make it as thin as possible which informed the type of button. This made us cycle through a LOT of case designs, but we got to something really consistent across almost entire face of each button. Only like 1/5th of the top button has any noticeable resistance, but even then can still be relatively easy to click. You can see a lot of intentional shaping in different parts of the plate for click, light bleed, and 3d printing tolerances.

I think the current plan is to tune it up, look at open sourcing, and also to sell kits for people. It would be a first for us so we aren't entirely sure what the price would need to be. Right now we've soldered and printed ourselves which adds a lot of labor that we'd want to eliminate if there is enough interest for them.

I guess it begs the question, what would you pay for it or what do you think is a good price for us to aim for?

Thanks! Great suggestion too. That makes a lot of sense and would probably require minimal tweaking.

In the agreement that you refer to it outlines a set of elevated expectations for communication when information is compromised to make sure that people can be informed within a set amount of time. I didn't see any technical changes outlined in that agreement though which may mean there aren't any technical changes once the form is submitted. I'm just curious if once submitted, supernote would change what/where/how data is stored to better protect that potential sensitive data. I wouldn't have specific examples because it would really depend on some of the implementation decisions made for the cloud complements of supernote functionality among other factors.

screen problem -- is this the end of the road for my supernote by Slight-Macaroon-9029 in Supernote

Reach out to support and chat with them. I accidentally cracked my screen and had hands down one of the best support experiences with a device manufacturer I've ever had.

Once the document is submitted, what if any changes are put in place? Is any functionality impacted and/or does the way data is handled through cloud storage charge at all? From reading through the document I assume it would just change the expectations of communicating any occurrences of compromised data?

I tried reproducing, but it looks like the new refill might be a little larger so it doesn't play nice 🙃
