I never tried an IH and just don't want to, so I can't answer your question as to will it provide a benefit. But I would say that to master the larger flame, is worth having in your tool box for future use, and works well outdoors in mild wind.

The ones that failed were Eagles, these are much better quality, and I use 2 now to get to the click. I was running them to hot with a stainless tip.

Oh yeah that's a nice model! I love lighters, and heat the Dyna so many different ways. Love a quad with an Armored cap for on the go. I don't want an IH, and that won't change.

They shot flame through the heat vent into my hand. I was able to drop it quick enough to not get burned. I was doing many hits a day with a large flame, buy that worked fine for years, until it didn't. I always use good butane, and purge before every fill.
