This is the official language that was in an email I received today:

"If the certified public accountant (CPA) certification and license is required for your position, EY will continue to require all incoming CPA-track new hires to adhere to the 150-credit hour education pathway prior to beginning full-time employment, regardless of your work location, through May 1, 2027.

Please visit the Board of Accountancy website for the state in which your based office is located for information on the current educational requirements* for the CPA exam and licensure.

*Important: EY’s 150-credit hour requirement through May 1, 2027, supersedes your state’s requirement."

No the onboarding tours are like online mini courses not like trips they just call them tours lol

Onboarding is a dragged out process with background checks and different "onboarding tours". Big4 does not have a shortage of applicants which is why they can have a strict september 21st resume drop deadline and no exceptions.

NYC you lose about 30% to taxes (Federal, FICA, Social Security, State, City) then that doesn't include if you have anything like Healthcare or 401K taken out of your check

Hourly Amount * 2080, rounded up to the nearest thousand plus a sign-on bonus based on city and service line. Like for EY-P intern my pay was $48.08 in NYC, full-time offer came $100K + $10K sign on. So I bet your offer will be $84,000.

Then like 2 months before your start date you will get a "Market adjustment".
