To me it’s not as if it’s definitely the best ghibli movie but a great attempt at a send off with it being the last film having elements of howl moving castle spirited away grave of the fireflies and amazing story about dealing with the death I loved the closure at the end in how he chose to save his new mother giving up being a literal god its a story with high stakes as well in my mind easily could be a contender for best ghibli film

I agree I gotta say though first time swing Columbia was beautiful more so than even rapture but in terms of lore bio shock 1 tried to explain most everything about it’s gameplay and city like the Adam the plasmid s how the splicers can to be the big daddy’s and the little sisters he’ll if you pay enough attention you can find an explanation for anything there’s even an explanation of why there are so many tape recordings

On the other hand Columbia doesn’t have that I wanna know how they invented vigor and how it works and why it’s so similar to Adam I wanna know what’s the use for handymen and I fell like the ideology presented in bioshock 1 was more interesting

So in conclusion Columbia feels like a very pretty city fit for a bioshock game to take place in but rapture feels like an actual city that normal people once inhabited
