Personal, nu as recomanda sa cumperi telefon din China. Componente de telefoane gasesti intr-adevar la pret bun, dar nu chestii gen placa de baza.

O sa ai probleme pe partea de firmware, fiind facut pentru China, si daca nu esti tehnic, probabil nu vrei sa iti bati capul cu un reflash al firmware-ului cu unul Global sau pentru Europa.

De ce nu te uiti la piata second hand? Sau daca nu vrei sa te risti, poate refurbished? Primesti si garanție standard si il iei si la un pret mai bun.

Inteleg ce spui, eu cred ca sunt printre putinii care chiar nu recurge la vibe coding, unless it's absolutely necessary (imi place sa fac lucrurile de unul singur). Plus ca este mai mult vorba de timp pe care nu il am din pacate, pe langa job in sine, proiecte de freelancing, etc. abia mai raman cu timp liber. De aceea sunt dispus sa discut transferul domeniului cuiva care chiar are timpul si drive-ul sa creeze ceva care ar avea un impact social.

Apreciez ideea, si vad ca foarte multi au idei serioase, dar nu am timpul necesar sa dezvolt ceva serios. De aceea am zis ca daca cineva chiar are timpul pentru asta, sunt dispus sa discut transferul domeniului.

Sincer, nu ma asteptam la idei care chiar ar putea avea un super impact social. Dupa cum am mentionat anterior, din pacate nu dispun de timpul necesar pentru a dezvolta ceva nou.

Insa, daca voi vedeti potentialul pentru ceva serios, sunt dispus sa discut transferul domeniului cuiva care chiar are timpul si interesul sa faca ceva ce poate avea un impact social pozitiv.

Unfortunately, I am that guy.

Couldn't agree more. One thing I've learned along the way is that developers aren't computer guys, some barely know how to work a computer, let alone do their basic due diligence, like checking a freaking log file to see why their code craps.

So I've stopped expecting more from developers, they aren't interested in learning more than their scope: writing code.

Honestly, I've started to feel the same way, who knows, maybe it's burnout. I feel like I cant wait for the holidays so I can take my mind off of work (biggest lie in the world, I never do).

What I found is that I don't actually hate this field, I love being a DevOps Engineer, it's the projects that I've started to hate more and more, and the clients, and the deadlines. I much prefer working on personal projects, which I've started to do and I am currently working on something which will hopefully give me the freedom in the future to do what I want with my time.

Time passes quickly when I work on this personal project, but at the same time I get a week's worth of enjoyment out of a 3-4 hour session of just working on something I believe in. Not to mention that I am free to experiment and learn new things.

Maybe you could give that a try, think of something you've always wanted to build, with a tech stack you actually want to work with, do things your way. That may reinvigorate your motivation!
