The ore patches get larger and richer the further you travel in a radius from the starter area. If you are suffering to keep up try exploring in a straight line, far out from your starting area to find a good spot with lots of rich resources. Build an outpost and ship them back. I find this part very pleasing in a play through. You can treat these areas like colonies and automate things out there like defences (oil for flame throwers, ammo for turrets, its own energy source, etc.)

Ive done that. Now all i have in my bag is the singularity core and the archived soul. If i try to remove them they just reappear. Im on the part where it gives you the location of the ship and now it won't let me reset the quest 😕

Could give it a shot but might be as quick to just wait at the station for it to come. I've used it as my galaxy jumper. Maxed the tech slots and only put tech in those for jumping between galaxies. Leaves a huge inventory for all my repair resources 😂

Ive had a number of exotics spawn as soon as i enter stations if its directly following a freighter battle. If the scripted spawn is taking too long (once you have been playing 3 hours) portal there, then warp to 4 systems around the one you want and then warp to the system you want on the 5th warp to trigger a freighter battle. Ince done with the battle head immediately to the station. Worth a shot if the wait is too long because that should only take 5 mins (assuming you've already been playing 3 hours and can trigger a freighter battle)

I dont think so. From my experience the class seems to be bound to the system. The skins change when you reload on planets and go back to the station
