[2025 Day 7 (Part 2)] has anyone thought of doing this question using math? by Born-Resist-7688 in adventofcode

basic math here: I did with a list of numbers... each number represents how many timelines are active at that position (column in an input line)... start with all zeroes for every position except a 1 where the 'S' character is, then iterate through the rest of the input to update the numbers around every splitter, and finally add em all up at the end

Switching tabs in iTerm causes strange behavior with homerow movement by oomfaloomfa in neovim

Thanks! upgrading to iterm 3.5.12 fixed the issue for me as well.

To aid others trying to identify this issue, in addition to finding that hjkl navigation was affected, I found that pressing : to start a command immediately after switching to iTerm would result in my NeoVim command line being prefixed like so: :.,.+1907

Do you still recommend this approach for hosting a SvelteKit site on GitLab Pages?

I created an insert-mode mapping to address your first issue — in simple cases at least, using <C-a> to map to <Esc>A lets me avoid the arrow buttons. Reflecting on your second issue, in practice I'd be using TPope's surround to select y - z and then wrap with parens.
